First off, mad props to Timpview. Well deserved win. I have watched WX all year, and their D is legit. Lloyd sliced apart their secondary like a hot knife through butter! As usual, I was very disappointed with the offensive play calling for WX. Should have thrown down field much more, much earlier. Timpview knew what they were going to do from the start...Dive right up the middle with one of three backs. I feel if WX would have used the passing game much earlier, instead of just the fourth, It could have been a much closer game. Timp still would have came away with the win, though. Congrats again, and good luck with East. And keep your heads high, Cats! Incredible year that will always be remembered. This football playin Alumni is mighty proud.

That's "Coach V" (for Van Orden) as he is called by his players.

Doesn't Lloyd have like 46 passing TD's to 6 Ints?

Credit that to a heck of a QB; an awesome O line providing great protection; good receivers running crisp routes; and a great play caller in Coach VanOgden (I think that's his name they said on KJAZZ TV).

Credit Wittingham also. Good leader and motivator.

But make no mistake-that Lloyd QB is special.

I am taking Timpview over East and TV to win it all.

    Beat East!

There's no way that Farnes was, " nearly as effective" as Lloyd. While Lloyd engineered methodical and dissecting drives, Farnes was constanly harrassed and pressured for the majority of afternoon. Statistically, the qb's were close, but from my point of view, Jake Lloyd was far more effective. The Timpview defense played great bend but don't break brand of ball. They don't mind being overlooked in their contribution to this great year that the Tbirds have had. Credit Woods Cross with a great effort and some truly standout athletes in Barton and Mokofisi, but the execution and team cohesiveness of Timpview ruled the day.
