To "LDS Liberal" so how have the last 4 years been as Obama has added nearly $5 Trillion in new debt, made the worst parts of the Patriot act permanent, kept Gitmo opened, had double Bush's casualty rate in Afghanistan, strained relationships with Israel and England, oversaw the US credit rating being downgraded 2 times, and simply made Bush's ideas and programs bigger.

If the Bush years were the worst 8 years of your life, how can Obama's be any better since he just took Bush's ideas and made them bigger?

I am impressed with Christie's actions. He easily could have tried to play politics with a President who was just doing his job, but Christie put aside politics and worked with the President for the good of the citizens of New Jersey. Good for him, and good for the Prsident for doing what he should be doing.

Governor Christie not only gets federal dollars to help his state and local entity's costs but got plenty of free advertising showing how much he supports Obama a week before the election. I wonder if he would be doing the same if the timing was different and he was Governor Romney's running mate.

Politics can make strange partnerships. GM got it through an non-normal situation. FEMA is part of how the money flows.

Santa is handing out taxpayer money to Christie. Of course he'll lock arms with Obama.

LDS Lib: Not sure I'm following your point as it may or may not pertain to the article in question.

That said: My point - When there funds to be garnered, you walk hand in hand with whomever you need to....

Leave to Utah and it's partisan politics....

    E Pluribus Unum,
    UNITED States of America.

    After the election,
he is OUR President for the next 4 years - regardless of Party affiliation.

Believe me - supporting GW Bush and Cheney as they trashed this nation was the worst 8 years of my life.
