I love this time of year when both football and basketball are on. Looking forward to seeing the team next Friday, even if its against SE Oklahoma. I'm betting Davies will have more double doubles than I can keep track of and the Cougs post another 25 plus win season with an invite to the dance seeded somewhere between 6 and 10. A WCC crown will likely get a 6 or 7 seed, and a 2nd place finish will likely get a 9 or 10. The WCC should get three bids again, proving they are one of the top BB conferences in the West. Hopefully the Cougs can get past the Zags this year.

Meanwhile, on the hill, a 10 win season would be a major accomplishment. But with games against Willamette, Idaho St, Texas St and College of Idaho - U should have a shot at double digit wins. The PAC12 will likely be a three bid conference also, with UCLA and AZ getting back to the "good ole' days". MWC will likely see a big drop off this year and be a one or two bid conference.

Thank the Lord for Dave Rose. It is so nice to not hear broncogarble about this program! Can't wait for basketball where there is something to play for.

It must be nice to be a basketball coach as opposed to a football coach. During fall camp, every word and snap that the media can get is reported on and debated ad nauseam. But the basketball coaches get to quietly prepare their teams for the season while everyone is focused on football.
