    re:Ali'ikai 'A'amakualenalena

Not sure what you are talking about here. Mitt wants a strong military? Do you? Mitt has said NOTHING about war or going to war. Mitt does want to support the poor rebels in Syria with arms not soldiers. Obama wants to ... do nothing as usual. Leading does not mean giving a speech to the UN and then doing nothing. The bad guys soon figure you out and know you are a do-nothing president that they can intimidate and that is EXACTLY what they know of the little man in the Oval Office with his teleprompter.

Here's the deal from Romney and I believe it - a STRONG American is a safe America. A weak America is an invitation for war.

    What say you??

Does Mitt Romney want American soldiers to go back into Iraq? Apparently he wants them to stay in Afganistan, maybe intervene in Syria, and certainly be ready to back Israel if it goes against Iran.

Not having served in the military (nor anyone in his family having served in any conflict) it staggers the imagination why Romney is so ready to put young Americans in harms way. Neither Romney nor any of his five sons have even considered military service, yet he wants the sons and daughters of other Americans to volunteer and face America's enemies.

Hopefully this will be addressed in the next debate on foreign policy. Romney likes to talk tough, but he only knows what the neocons around him are saying. And those guys have absolutely no military experience either. Continuous war? Never-ending war? Is that what Romney really wants?

Listening to him give his speech at VMI makes me wonder what kind of America he really envisions. It is indeed scary when Romney rattles the sabers so publically. He sounds like George Bush back when he was drumming up support to invade Iraq with threats of terrorist attacks, yellow cake, and WMD.

"Obama came to the debate to have a conversation"

HA! Who was he having the conversation with - himself?? I saw alot of tight moving lips as he angrily looked down at the podium the entire night. Also, if you plan on having a conversation you normally LOOK at the guy you want to talk to. Barack was looking at the podium the entire night so I suppose he was hoping - praying - desperately wishing he would suddenly spot his trusty teleprompter to bail him out!

I laugh at liberals trying to come to some sort of realization about what happened last week. HE lied!! It was the altitude! Romney had the answers! The moon was full... and on and on....

At some point you would think the light bulb would go off in their pointed heads with the idea that maybe their guy is really not all that smart after all!!! YIKES!!!

"Wow. Imagine that. Dnews supporting Romney."

Was there one single credible adult on the face of the earth with a moderate IQ who didn't think Obama got sacked on his own 5 yard line? How embarrassing for Obama's supporters.

"Matheson must remind voters of his incredible achievements" certainly Pignelli is drinking the Kool aid with this statement, it should read if Mtheson had any incredible achievements for Utah, he would not be behind in this race.
    The guy is a chameleon.

If you are like me and are tired of the competing claims about Rep. Jim Matheson's voting record re: ObamaCare, consider the following:

For those that think Rep. Matheson helped fight "ObamaCare" when it passed, think again.

Look at what votes he made the last week prior that helped set up what happened Sunday March 21, 2010. For those that wanted the bill to pass, he voted against it, for those that wanted it to fail, he voted to suspend the rules so it could pass.

The legislature didn't redistrict Rep. Matheson out of the 2nd district.

He lives in the current 2nd and new 2nd district.

The new 2nd district and 4th district are reportedly both as republican as his current district. He chose to run in the 4th district because he resides in Utah and the US constitution doesn't say he has to run in his own district. Unless he moves, he won't be able to vote for himself this fall.

Mitt went into the debate knowing that Obama would lie about him. All he had to do was show that Obama was lying, without calling him an outright liar. So that's what he did, and he won the debate.

Obama's biggest mistake was that he started believing his own lies. When the Real Mitt showed up instead of the Caricature Mitt, Obama was lost.
