re: worf"...The utes will struggle because of the
altitude,..." Please. Tell me you are kidding. Who is coming
from Sea level to approx 4400 ft? Hint: NOT the Utah Utes!
Enjoy another blowout in the Pac12! Utah Utes the perennial bottom feeders of
the conference!! Hey maybe if your lucky the Utes can go to the Las Vegas Bowl
Nothing would make me happier than to see the Utes beat USC as they are our
toughest competetor in the south. But after last week in SD stadium in
Tempe, I'm afraid the Utes have lost something since last year that will
translate into a much wider margin against USC.It's just different
when you play tough teams week in and week out.We, ASU and UofA have had
to grow into the conference and we have long gaps when we're not so
competetive.Kyle's a smart coach though and he'll have the Utes
back in the mix in a year or two.But they've got to do something with
their O line and get a real QB.
@duckbutter"Where is Christy B? When she predicts it usually is bad
for Utah. Maybe she has learned her lesson or her parents grounded her from
using the computer."Surely there are ways to mock somebody that
aren't blatantly sexist...
"Getting to the Pac 12 was something the Utes earned."By
being geographically proximate and socially acceptable...
I'm guessing utah "fans" will wish it was another 95 years before
they come back after tonight.
Goo Utes...it's yours to lose! We love you guys! Remember, you're
95 years since SLC, but only 8 since they were in the great state of Utah, when
they worked BYU in Crowton's last year.Grew up a USC fan, go
cedarcityute"I guess I just keep in mind games like Wyoming
killing us at home under McBride..."As opposed to teams like
10-loss Colorado killing you at home under Whittingham? How soon you
forget that Colorado dominated U from the start. At halftime, the Buffs led 10-0
and held a 254-39 total-yardage advantage and an 11 1/2-minute edge in time of
Who am I sir?"First time USC has visited SLC in 95 years. (Have
they ever visited any other city?)"Been there, done that. BYU
played #1-ranked USC home-and-home in 2003 and 2004.After over a
hundred years of playing football, it is fun to see our little brothers finally
getting to host a big name opponent for the very first time. (USC was not a big
name 95 years ago.)
This game will be as exciting as last nights debate. USC will dominate from the
beginning to end. The utes will struggle because of the altitude, and moderator
An optimistic bunch. Good for you. A part of me hopes the Utes can pull it
off. However, it gets extremely tiring to hear the "we're
automatically better now than our old peers simply because of conference
affiliation".Our Broncos, while not as good this year either,
have fed the boots to the Utes for consecutive games now. "Girlsy State
Cheerleaders" tweets come to mind most recently before the latest spanking
of the Utes. Conference affiliation, by itself, isn't very impressive to
most. I mean, Washington State and Colorado belong to the conference of
champions as well and, like the Utes, you don't see much out of them where
it counts-results on the field. Vanderbilt and Kentucky are in the SEC too.
Every conference has it's doormats. It's impressive to see
headlines about 6 conference teams ranked in the top 25 but comical to see Utes
poking their chests out about it, seeing that Utah is nowhere near close to
being included in that group. Comments like "With a win tonight, the South
crown is ours" are just ignorant, especially this year.I'd
be happy to see the upset tonight. Good luck!
Good luck, Utes. If you can hold it close, you will have a chance. We will see.
Illustrates how far the Utes have come!First time USC has visited
SLC in 95 years. (Have they ever visited any other city?) However, they will
visit SLC every other year from now on! They along with Oregon (3 of the next 6
years), Stanford, (2 of the next 4 years), UCLA (every other year), Arizona
State (every other year), Michigan (within the next 4 years), the rest of the
PAC-12 teams. And there still remains a few games to schedule out of conference
teams in the near future. Also our Lady Utes are playing the
defending national champion and currently rated number two team - the Stanford
Cardinals on National TV. Also this weekend our Lady Utes volleyball team play
the number two rated Washington Huskies on National TV. Both games are
conference games. Can you say, "Big Time?"Go
Ha! I wish I was in my teens :) I guess I just keep in mind games like Wyoming
killing us at home under Mcbride, something Utah fans forget. I was referring
to Utah playing Oregon in 2004. That was a start of big things. Not to
discredit Mcbride, but Meyer started some really cool stuff for us and I love
seeing it pay off for us now, with us in the PAC 12 and playing USC at home.
I love the "game tonight to determine the PAC 10.2 South champion" talk.
True day dreamers. Where is Christy B? When she predicts it usually is bad
for Utah. Maybe she has learned her lesson or her parents grounded her from
using the computer.
cedarcityuteI'm grateful for what Mcbride did for Ute football,
but really, it seems to have all started with Urban Meyer. It's so cool to
see us, just shy of ten years ago, hosting a USC game at home. Very neat things
are in store for us, and it's been great to see our team grow like this
:)You must only be in your teens. Ron McBride is the man that
started all this stuff up here, Urban Meyer came along and did great things with
Mac's players. It is going to be a very special night I can't wait to
be there we have come so far.J-TXUtah: The Not Quite
Ready for Prime Time Players. Ask ASU.....Whatever-It's getting
way old from all you y fans, who is really not ready for Prime Time. ESPN wants
to buy out your contract, you've lost the last two Prime Times (Hawaii
doesn't count) to Utah, and Boise State.
I would absolutely LOVE it if Utah can beat USC. GO Utes!

Go Utes!! Run away before it's too late. Someone will be marking it down.
"Two big games this week1) One to determine likely Pac12 South
Champion2) One to determine likely WAC champion"Our
delusional little brothers will get another taste of reality tonight.
Go Utes! Win lose or draw, I have supported Utah Atheletics since I was a kid. I
love my Utes!
While I'm not expecting a win (haven't proven our o line even wants to
learn how to block people) I'm going to watch this game all the way to the
end and cheer for my Utes. I've been watching a lot of Being Liverpool this
fall and it's given me an appreciation of what a real fan is all about.
Getting to the Pac 12 was something the Utes earned and they will have to make
their bones in this league where underdogs beat up on favorites every week and
amazing athletes are part of every program from football to soccer. We are going
to have our good days and bad days in this conference to be sure and win or
lose, I'd like to be witness to that part of history. Anyone who thought we
were going to come in and quickly dominate the Pac 12 was living in a fools (and
a foolish fans) paradise. That said---go get 'em Utes! You can be that
upset team just as much as any team in this conference.
Two big games this week1) One to determine likely Pac12 South

This going to get real ugly, real fast. Utah is not a good team. Had two good
years. Ever. Thats it. Go Broncos
Wow. Delusions.I thought the first paragraph was interesting. I
think the author was trying to say that the Utes were eyeing the bottom line.
(1 more point than USC). But what he said was, they are eyeing the bottom,
which I think is more accurate. Utah: The Not Quite Ready for
Prime Time Players. Ask ASU.....
Today will be magical. With a win tonight, the South crown is ours.Ute walk at 4:30. Sorry boss, I dont think I'll be feeling well around 3
PM todayGo UTES
Game day!Go Utes!
Go Trojans, Fight On!
