I think we can already see who the real coaching genius was up on the hill - it was Gary Anderson. Look at Utah's record since he left, then look at Utah State's. It is obvious who was making the program successful. Watch and see, if Gary sticks around, USU will be the next Boise State over the next decade.

Football is a rough game. There was nothing vicious or dirty about the encounters between Anae and the two Hawaii players that had to leave the game.

Famika Anae was my scoutmaster and one of the greatest men I have ever known.

USC 38, utes 3, BYU 24, usu 10. If BYU football is a little too rough for aggie 84 you can suggest to your team that they can always just forfeit and stay home. Football is a rough game and legal blocking is part of it.

Sorry Dick, your Utah-USC prediction is a joke. It won't be close. USC will roll. I don't care how many days you give Whittingham to prepare. He's way over-rated. USC 31- Utah - 10.

Why did they fire his dad? Anae was a very good OC.

I'm not sure Hawaii was a good test to deteremine how good BYUs new O Line is. We will find out Friday night. Against Hawaii they looked more stout, nastier, and sound; but some of that could have also been Hill's ability to scramble. If Anae and company are improved over the starting line in Games 1 - 4, the season could get interesting. A solid effort from the O Line will open up the offense, and BYU will cruise past the Aggies, GT and everyone else except Oregon State and ND. It will take a near perfect game and a few mistakes of their part to get a victory in South Bend and against the Beavs.

Unbelievable, a guy puts two guys out of the game and he gets an article written about him. Brady got thrown out of a game for a shoulder pad hit. Can anyone explain how a guy gets thrown out for a legal hit and a hero is born for putting two guys out? I hope the officials don't get caught up in this game like they did last year.

There's no way utah pulls this out against USC, if ASU can drop 37 on them just imagine what SC will do to them, 45-7 USC all day long, oh and to the other blue team sorry BYU 24 USU 10 cougars defense to much for the aggies.

    @ Utes 27-USC

Did I miss something, or has ASU...the team you lost to...lost a conference game? Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't that take your run to the PAC 12 title out of your control? By the way, technically one cannot control their own fate. Look it up.

Good luck Utes. I think you'll need it.

Good luck Cougs! I think you'll need some as well.

Utah will not win; they are not a good team right now. Dick is pandering a bit to the locals, but USC will win by two touchdowns or more. Why? USC does not have a QB issue, or a runningback issue, they are solid across the board, and UTah will never be in this game.

Sorry byu fans. We still control our fate all the way to the pac12 title game and have it in the bag after a win tomorrow.
