    @ Duchunter

"utah is to BYU what new mexico, unlv, colorado, wyoming, sdsu, etc. is to utah"

Really, that's weird because none of those teams have beat Utah 8 of 11 like the Utes have owned your Cougars. But I guess you know everything right ducky. One thing you definitely know from experience is how to get to Tulsa.

What part of having a better overall season do you not understand?

The reason Bronco has FIVE Top 25 finishes, and Kyle only THREE, is because, unlike Kyle, Bronco doesn't lose to bad teams like 10-loss UNLV or 10-loss Colorado.

"every put down by a Y fan on the Utes just makes your team look that much worse."

Not really. utah is to BYU what new mexico, unlv, colorado, wyoming, sdsu, etc. is to utah. The difference is BYU only has one of them, utah has too many to count.

I thought you said "one game does not a season make", therefore the Colorado game is an outlier by your definition.

To my point, Utah has beaten BYU 3 years in a row. What part of getting owned by the Utes do you not understand? Again, every put down by a Y fan on the Utes just makes your team look that much worse.

One game does not a season make. The Utes have had BYU's number the last three games, but two wins in games that were basically decided on the last play hardly proves any sort of dominance.

One thing Bronco and Kyle have demonstrated throughout their now 8th seasons as head coaches - Bronco seldom loses to bad teams; Kyle loses to them all the time.

You can be proud of your wins over BYU, but bottom-line last season, and in most seasons for the last 40 years, BYU finished in the Top 25, with another 10+ win season. Utah finished unranked, with that humiliating season-ending home loss to 10-loss Colorado.

Interesting post. You suggest Utah and Colorado are at the bottom of the PAC 12. Given BYU's 3rd straight loss to the Utes, where would that put the Cougars had they been invited to the PAC, #12 or #13?

With every insult you pile on Utah, you actually highlight BYU's shortcomings because the Utes own your team. To each his own I guess, keep on posting Bro.

    So glad you are back.

Your Utes sure got owned by USU and ASU didn't they?

Now the decision about the worst team in the PAC 10.2 is still out. After all we are talking about conference games, correct?

Let's don't get too hasty. Colorado and Utah are still in the running.

Ute hater for life ...... BYU beat the worst team in the PAC 12 (Washinton State) and Utah beat BYU and you are pounding your chest, why?

To all the Utah haters out there, don't be sorry for Ute fans. Everyone wins some games and loses some games. Just know that Utah is in a better league and now plays quality opponents. At first, Utah may struggle, and Rome wasn't built in a year. All I got to say, win or lose...Go UTES!!!

Sorry Ute fans, this won't be close. Trojans will roll. Just feel lucky you don't have to play Stanford or Oregon this year or it would really be ugly.

Sooooooo excited! I love these big time games, Utah's home schedule is stellar. As fun as it is blowing out horrible teams I am glad we get to witness better compitition. If the Utes can get pressure with 4 or 5 on D they will be fine but if they do not Barkley will have a field day.
    Go Utes!

So after this weekend, BYU will still have the better Pac 12 record than Utah. Sounds about right!

Some folks just don't get it... the "once upon a time rivalry" is over.

You actually have to win a few times to bring it back. But thanks for your interest.

Do you have tickets to the best competition and schedule in Utah? That would be the University of Utah.

Too late, they are sold out and selling for 3-4 times their face value.

It's going to be a long day for Mo Lee and company! I understand that only time will tell, but I am very much looking forward to a nice, little Utes beat down. Utah's offesnse, both rushing and passing, is too inconsistent. I know I'll be beat up, but will see come Thursday night.

The only chance the Utes have to win this game is if they can get to Barkley a number of times and make him miss. The Utes will not be able to exchange blows with this offense, the D will have to make some big plays on the ball.

That being said, I think the D will be pumped for this game. After the showing as ASU, I think they come into this game angry. I would love to see an angry Ute D front take it to Barkley.

    Go Utes!

You know that when we win (yes, when) people will say it's a fluke and for some reason fans won't be jump started. Just a guess, because it's happened to us before. Anyway, I'm very stoked for the game and very excited to see what Kyle and company have in store for these guys :)

Last year we started 0-4 and nearly played in the first ever Pac12 title game. Now we're down one game and again byu fans(and even some Ute fans) are throwing up their arms saying the season is over. NO!

We nearly beat them last year at their place. If we find a way to win, suddently these fickle commentators will be calling us the favorite to win the division(especially since we'd essentailly be 2 games up on USC due to tiebreaker rules).

Cant wait for the game! Hopefully we let our receivers and QB have some quick bubble screens and slant routs as well. some early success with short passes should help to open up the run game later on, and maybe open up down field for a home run ball or two as the game progresses.
