Seems that the Demo's are trying to target a obnoxious film for all these problems, but as more
information is disclosed, and I'm sure that we will never hear the best of it, we were warned
that there would be disturbances on 9/11. Where were the reinforcements that should have been sent to protect our people. Apparently the one's that had been request for Libya had been held up in the State Department.
After the DNC where it was very public and overly (at least 20+ times) reveled that Obama had killed bin Laden, and Hillary had laughed openly on TV concerning his taking out. What would you expect the Muslin community might think or feel, and when best to express it, after all there was a great celebration when the towers came down. It was bin Laden they were praising as they attacked our Embassies.
Obama is the great 'leader from behind". I'm sure the relatives of the 4 dead in Libya appreciate this kind of leadership, and unfortunately that is what we can expect in the future.

So the politics of the terrorist factor into your blaming obama for their acts how?

nice try, but the reason people are saying romney made a gaffe is because he rushed out and made uniformed comments about a situation he clearly does not understand, I do find it interesting that Romney is already trying to blame Obama for his own failures, I can hardly wait for the next four years if he actually manage to win.

Obama failed - so according to unbiased press (many of whom worked for Democrat campaigns - Chuck Todd, George Stephanopoulos) - Romney must have made a gaffe by noticing

    @ Tolstoy
Tpday's terrorism is based on political (in this case religious fanatacism mixed with politics) issues. Current-day terrorists don't want religious freedoms, they want to set up a church state where their sharia law rules. It would follow then that these acts of terror are closely linked to politics.

"it was a political event that cost the lives of four people." how so?

Lets use the current candidate logic here , and play it back agains another event.

In April of 1983, the US embassy in Lebanon was attacked, and bombed killing 63, of which 17 were Americans. The President at the time was the patron saint of Republicanism, Ronald Reagan.

In October 1983 the US Marine base had a like attack on it, killing 241 Marines and 57 French Paratroopers.

Romney and Ryan claim the Obama foreign policy is a failure for letting these attacks happen this week. If that is the case and precedent, are Romney and Ryan equally willing to call the Reagan foreign policy that resulted in 100 times more deaths at US facilities as failure as well? 388 Lives lost at US embassy's under Reagan versus 4 under Obama.

I hate that any of these events is being politicized. But surely hate more the distortions being laid out. No more so than attacks from McCain, because I am old enough to remember images from Hanoi of the Americans being Helicoptered out of the then falling US Embassy - a tragedy brought on by the politicization of yet another conflict.

Shame on anyone who doesn't remember the cost paid.

    Step one: load footgun
Step two: shoot self in foot
Step three: keep shooting until you have no leg to stand on.

Good luck to the GOP using that campaign strategy.

It is interesting to me that those who support President Obama act like he isn't responsible for anything. Many of the comments on similar stories to this even act like Mitt Romney is the president and shouldn't be making his remarks. Get real. The foreign policy "gaffe" as stated in some articles is the President's not one of his political challengers. And as for politicizing this event, it was a political event that cost the lives of four people.

nothing like spotting overly simplistic platitudes during a time of international crisis to show your foreign affairs chops for short term political gain. Just more proof that these two are not ready for the reality of the job they are running for.

Ryan & Romney are a disgrace to American Politics and their attacks on President Obama are childish attempts to gain votes from people more ignorant of foreign affairs than themselves.

Obama got Bin Laden, and kept his eye on the target, while the last admin and it's fan club ryan & mit would have let him go again, like bush did.

Starting wars is NOT Diplomacy mit.
...and since none of your good sons have enlisted it will be up to middle class to sacrifice their children for your arrogance.
