    The hounding will stop when he quits giving our money away, while tempering with things he shouldn't be doing. He stole forty billion of our money to keep GM going. That's not his job. Now GM has a new plants in Monterrey Mexico, and other countries. Solyndra is another example.

    Obama needs to do his job.

    Worf, it it's the president's role to only protect the country, then stop hounding him over jobs!

    It really isn't the concern of Obama about:

    * college tuition
    * what we eat
    * cars gas mileage
    * healthcare
    * education
    * etc

    The role of the president is protecting the country.

    Was this the best picture that the DN could find of Obama? Even in pictures the prejudice speaks loudly.

    The cost of college is going up because states have cut their support for land grant universities and baked into those budgets are the cost of America's out-of-control health care system. Education is an investment in everyone's future. For us Mormons, education is a duty as well as a privilege.

    The irony of Chris Christie's convention speech was that while he praised his hard-working father's achievement of becoming the first college graduate in his family, that step up was due to the GI bill and the state university that he attended. Both great benefits from the government that paid huge dividends to the Christie family. But that kind of gets lost when you have a political ox to gore.

    Why is the cost of college education rising? There is an economic theory much like the law of supply and demand called from source to sink. It says that if money is readily available (government student loans) the prices of any commodity (education) will increase to take advantage of the source of the money! In other words, government backed student loans have a very unfortunate unintended consequence!

    The stimulus, and added trillions to the debt, could easily pay all tuition and healthcare for America.

    Time to be accountable. Where's the money Barack? It didn't all go to Solyndra.

    How about rising:

    * fuel prices
    * food prices
    * medical prices
    * housing prices

    How are people going to pay for this if there's no jobs?
