Co-director Sullivan's previous film, "No Intelligence Allowed" on the Intelligent Design movement, to which Rea alludes, was thoroughly fisked by the scientific community after its release and came up sorely lacking in the scientific substance department. There are allegations by the participants (such as biologist PZ Myers) that interviews were obtained under false pretenses. It doesn't look like the current film adheres to any higher standards. Kudos to the DesNews for printing a critical review when a large part of its readership is predisposed to accept the film at face value. It has been causing hearts to twitter on local talk radio.

Sullivan and D'Souza are preaching to the choir, delivering red meat to the true believers who need no real evidence. These are undoubtedly many of the same people who dismissed "Farenheit 9/11" and "An Inconvenient Truth" as liberal propaganda. Viewers should be alert to the same persuasion techniques in this film. Just because it conforms to your worldview doesn't make it valid. Watch out for selective editing, remarks taken out of context, false dichotomies, false equivalencies, etc. Sullivan might just be a conservative Michael Moore. View with the same skepticism.
