    Miss Piggie, that's the sort of stuff you believe because you just want to believe it, not because it makes sense or there's any credible evidence to support it.

    Another "legit" scenario for you to consider...

    Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, exactly as all the credible evidence says he was. Voila! Case closed.

    @Mr. Bean: "YouYube is full of irrefutable evidence that the Certificate is bogus."

    But here's a possible scenario that it's ligit...

    Stanley Ann Dunham Obama was pregnant with her son, Barack Obama, when she and her husband were visiting in Kenya. Her time for delivery was nearing and suddenly she found herself about to give birth. Oh my heavens! They had no time to get to the airport and fly back to Hawaii for the delivery, either because it was too dangerous to travel in her condition or they just didn't care where the baby was born, not realizing eventual consequences.

    The baby came while in a hospital in Kenya as witnessed by the baby's African grandmother and evidenced by a Kenya birth certificate. Then, a month or so later, when all was settled and school was about to commence, they got on a plane and headed home to Hawaii. When they got there, they contacted the appropriate Hawaii government department to register the birth on a 'certificate of live birth.' Such a procedure was permissible then and is to this day. Then they put a birth announcement in several Hawaii news papers. Voila! Case closed.

    @the truth:

    "By the way, the 'birther' issue was started by the Hillary Clinton campaign and is NOT a issue of the right..."

    You got that right... and so did Bill & Hillary.

    YouYube is full of irrefutable evidence that the Certificate is bogus.

    And where's his college/university records? What's so sacred about college/university records that he has put them under lock and key, making it unlawful for anyone who may have them, including the schools, to bring them forward? Do they show that he registered as a foreign student? Perhaps he thought he was a foreign student and went ahead and applied as a student from Kenya. Nothing wrong with that. C'mon, let's have the records.

    The comments here are further proof the extreme left has no sense of humor.

    If we can't laugh at ourselves then we are really in big trouble.

    By the way, the "birther" issue was started by the hilary clinton campaign and is NOT a issue of the right, but whoever wants to believe it,

    more importantly, it is has long been in the public domain and perfectly good fodder for humor.

    The left needs to stop taking itself so seriously, Mitt was cetainly not being serious.

    Disappointing, Governor. You have my vote, but I am sorry to see you embrace birther stupidity.

    When Romney warms up to a right wing crowd, he needs to remember that the whole country is watching on the evening news via clips that run over and over again. This type of gaffe is endemic of the maladroit campaign he's been running from the start.
