I think that Jessica is spot on in her analysis. In 5A, I see, however, a dark horse in Freemont with the Elmer sisters. If Mariah can remain healthy, I think that Freemont can make a title run. Freemont gave Alta all that it could handle and maybe should have drawn or won the game. Freemont tries to play real soccer, and with the talent of the Elmer sisters, Freemont will shock some teams. Brighton is also on the rise. But until somebody beats Alta, Alta remains the favorite under soccer wizard Lee Mitchell.

In 4A, I think that Skyline will be the team to beat. Skyline has been on the rise the past couple of years and has a great coaching staff.

In 3A, I think that Juan Diego will take the title. In Juan Diego's victory over Riverton, an argument could be made that Juan Diego was the best team in the state. And Juan Diego's loss to Lone Peak was a game that could have gone either way.

In 2A, Waterford always seems to get its act together by the playoffs under Coach Dolbin. Watch for Caroline Coats to lead Waterford to the promised land.
