As I clearly stated, I had no objection to them reporting it. I did believe, and so stated, that they should not post it on the front page. Leave it in the sports section and those wishing to find it can do so with one extra click.

Also, andrejules, I saw no reason to talk to me like a 5 year old. I do know that this is a "NEWSpaper." I also know what their job is, as I've worked in journalism previously. The market for DesNews is to Utah not Illinois; they are not competing to get a news story out before the The Chicago Sun-Times, thus I think they can ignore when an event is shown on TV in Illinois. The patronizing statements and the rude tone of your comment were unwarranted and rather frustrating. I don't know why commenters feel the need to constantly be rude to each other....I suppose it's the comfort of knowing that you're anonymous.

Claudio They are a NEWSpaper. Their job is to print current news, not wait until a TV network gets around to it. Anyway, this event happened early today our time ON TV.
Congratulations to Gabby...she is darling and tough as nails.

Why post this on the front page more than 10 hours before the final result will be broadcast on television? Thanks for ruining this event DesNews. You're almost as good as NBC Sports!
