So much in this article I never knew. Thank you. I was so pleased to see, that at least so far, no disparaging comments were levied. I also love the slogan someone coined which states, "Still the right place".

I live outside of Spokane, though am originally a Utah native, as were my parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Right Place, sentiment is dear to my heart, but I consider it to be more far reaching than just the Great Basin. For me, depending upon my conduct, where ever I stand can be considered the right place and my living room can always be a part of Zion which is what we strive to accomplish constantly.

Photo 15 has a lot of historic value, the only women and children who entered the valley and my great great grandfather Lorenzo Dow Young. Here is information on that picture. "Brigham Young, sitting in carriage, Wilford Woodruff driving, Heber C. Kimball and Lorenzo Dow Young walking beside carriage. Women are: Clarissa Decker Young (wife of Brigham Young), Ellen Saunders Kimball (wife of Heber C. Kimball) and Harriet Page Wheeler Decker Young (wife of Lorenzo Dow Young). Boys are: Lorenzo Sobieski Young (son of Lorenzo Dow Young by his wife Persis Goodall) and Isaac Perry Decker (son of Harriet Decker). "

Excellent article with one small problem. B.H. Roberts was not an Apostle. He was one of the Seven Presidents of the Seventy. Also called the First Council of the Seventy.
