Seriously, Mark? While my comment infers that people have a
responsibility to pay attention and make decisions based on something other than
dancing pirates, my point is that companies like Capital One prey on our
society's entitlement attitude and plan their advertising knowing full well
they'll rip people off.
Is Ned trying to say that that card USERS are at fault because they SHOULD have
assumed they would be ripped off somehow? Good thing the court felt otherwise.
Is anyone surprised by this? Its pretty obvious that if you're promoting
your credit card, or "free" credit report on TV, you've got to be
making the money somewhere.
