It may never get better until people realize the worth of freedom again, and another revolutionary war is fought. Than the cycle starts over.

Obama is too funny! He got everything he wanted. He had NO opposition for the first two years. He had stimulus I and stimulus II. Again, no opposition. Billions of debt and money wasted on cronies and now it is the Republicans fault for not cooperating. This guy is amazing -- but it is fun to watch him twist and turn. We elected the least prepared and least accomplished president in our history. Can we really be surprised by the results?

How about he show us NOW he can change the economy instead of saying the economy will change? Prove now you can do something, and not just feed gullible people garbage. Get rid of this guy, please!

Of course, it has no where else to go. But it won't get better than what Americans need. Time is not running out, it's out. Three and half years can't be made up in 5 months. That type of economy is not what a 5 trillion buys you. Get Obama's hand off America's credit card. He spends like a spoiled rich kid who's never worked a day in his life.

For 34+ years our presidents from the pre Bush era all the way through the Obama years the economy has been declining at an astonishing rate so high our government doesn't even want to discuss it. And so far nothing anyone has done has been able to make things better.

Some say workers want too much non government money but how can that be relevant when they aren't getting raises or more money? Annual income keeps getting smaller, taxes go up.

Despite the freeze and defunding of SSA support Obama put on allowing workers to provide retirement for generations to come, de-funding SSA is not a tax cut, its destruction of a guaranteed retirement plan.

Obama has escalated our destruction as a nation, but Romney is just a clone with no alternative plans of recovery and resurrection of our country. Romney is determined to keep americans unemployed and give illegal foreign nationals more entitlements to loot this country.

Hope for this county does not lie in government, it lies in the will of the people to fight government anarchy and provide for themselves, a 40 year war to undo the socialist government has empowered itself with.

    We're doomed ...

    September 1929
"There is no cause to worry. The high tide of prosperity will continue." — Andrew W. Mellon, Secretary of the Treasury.

    March 8, 1930
"President Hoover predicted today that the worst effect of the crash upon unemployment will have been passed during the next sixty days." - Washington Dispatch.

    June 29, 1930
"The worst is over without a doubt." - James J. Davis, Secretary of Labor.

    September 12, 1930
"We have hit bottom and are on the upswing." - James J. Davis, Secretary of Labor.

    January 20, 1931
"The country is not in good condition." - Calvin Coolidge.

    June 9, 1931
"The depression has ended." - Dr. Julius Klein, Assistant Secretary of Commerce.

“The Great Depression, like most other periods of severe unemployment, was produced by government mismanagement rather than by any inherent instability of the private economy.” - Milton Friedman

We just don't learn the lessons of history ... do we.

Obama blames Republicans for not working to get the economy back on track?

Obama is out of touch. If he wanted Congress to improve the economy, you would think he would act to get the Senate, run by Democrats, to pass a budget. If the Senate passed a budget, and then had to work in committee to compromise with the House, that we would see a stronger economy.

Obama should reduce burdensome regulations, extend retirement age to shore up Social Security, modify other entitlement programs, take action to encourage trade, work to reduce taxes for small business and Americans. Instead, he wants to raise taxes on business, raise taxes via Obamacare, raise taxes by letting the Bush tax cuts expire, and the AMT expire.

Of course he says that; what did we expect? He's in re-election mode and has been since day one of his presidency. I would prefer the economy come back stronger under someone else's watch not his. He had four years to bring this country together, he has failed. This is the most divisive, anti-American, anti-Military, blame-everyone-else-but-me president we have had the displeasure of calling our president. Let's all send him looking for a new job in November.
