I don't know why either, but unfortunately a championship game against Life University (wherever and whatever that is) and Arkansas state doesn't seem as cool. There is a movement underfoot towards 7s and that is why Cal moved, not because they simply wanted to degrade themselves.

Well Cal made a decision to degrade themselves. I don't know why they would do that but they did and now they are at a lower level.

Too bad Cal is no longer playing Rugby in this division. It takes off the most accomplished college Rugby program in the country.

"CougarBlue" As former BYU Rugby Player, I can tell you that The U of U has a first class program. They won the national 7's championship a couple of years ago. They are great competition. BYU is lucky to have them so close. If you can stay with the U, you have a good shot of winning it all!

Is Utah playing for the state championship or do they even know what Rugby is?

It's great to see BYU make the final once again. Come on you Cougars. No mistakes. Stay focused, play for your team-mates and for that great coach of yours. Go out there, and fulfil your destiny. This year is your year.

Ark State is very good. The Cougs will lose if they get too cocky. Best of luck. BYU Rugby is the model for the rest of the nation.
