    @iron and clay

I am pretty sure it is not the president that should be embarrassed by your observations.

It is good that the executive office is up for election every four years. Suddenly Obama supports Ann Romney. ..Good, then apologize to the American people for promising hope and change and instead just continuing and escalating the course of merging the United States with an international collective,

Do not, Obama, embarass yourself further as the imposter that you have proven to be and be a man like Lyndon Johnson with his socialist programs did back in 1968 and admit that socialism is unamerican and tell your party that you will not seek or accept another term.

Call Ann and tell her that you want her husband to go ahead and fix the country as she told him to do.

So then you concede you have no evidence to back up your claims? Why is it that every time you get caught in a lie you try to change the subject to everything but the subject being discussed which in this article and thread is the tweets and Obama's response? Limbaugh, Mahur etc.. have noting to do with these tweets?

    CHS, Charlie, and xscribe,
not a word about maher and his vile language and BO accepting maher's money - money he gets in part because he is so vile. Thank you for the integrity of not trying to defend that.

CHS, calling a woman not in the public spotlight by any choice of her own a derisive term for the female genitalia simply because she is the daughter of a politician you oppose is the smallest infraction? Obviously it does not rank up there with assault and worse, but you think that is nothing worth bothering about?

just because I do not cite official government sources (as I did in the other thread concerning BO's deficits and how clinton NEVER produced a surplus) or MSNBC you now doubt everything I say? no skin off my nose, you never believe anything I say anyway, even when proven from US treaury sources. I could say we need oxygen to survive and I don't think you'd believe it.

but they started it, thats it I am going home and I am taking my toys with me.

seriously though I agree with you its time to move on this petty partisanship and way past time to not give pundits so much attention, I think we have more serious matter to focus on.

@Lost: I'd like to know also your direct evidence that the BO campaign directed this person to say such things. I'll bet you have zero, but yet you still make the statement. Leaves anything you have to say suspect!

Well your guy did this and your guy did that. Well my guy apologized for this and shouldn't apologize for that. Your guy insulted my guy first, no wait, my guy insulted your guy first. I'm the victim here, no wait, you're the victim. I'm more persecuted than you. He started it! No, he started it! No, she said it first.

Does that cover it all? Both sides are just nauseating in their demands for apologies and their feigned outrage over the smallest infraction. Grow a backbone and move one, people! Like my dad used to say - I don't care who started it, now shake hands and be done with it!

so more wild conspiracy theories? anything to back up you claim that Obama "directed Rosen to make the comment?" I thought not.

you like to use "sheesh" a lot, don't you?

tell me, did Romney denounce Limbaugh's statements as vehemently as BO did Maher's statements about Bristol Palin? Perhaps you can help me out, did BO denounce Maher for using the "c" word on Ms. Palin before or after he accepted $1 million from maher for his re-election campaign? And of course, the "c" word is not any worse than the term Limbaugh used on Fluke, is it?

Oh, that's right, BO NEVER denounced Maher and his vile comments, he just gladly accepted his money.

Well, if you want to play that game, then of course Mitt Romney denounced Rush Limbaugh's statements as he directed them in the first place, right?

Sheesh. The conspiracy theories that emanate from the DN forums is actually pretty funny in a pathetic sort of way.

Of course BO came to her defense, that was the reason the BO campaign directed Rosen to make the comments in the first place, so they could be seen coming to Ann's rescue. Another tactic in their phony "war on women" campaign.

Thanks, Bored. Was just getting ready to write the same thing. Apparently it's okay when your candidate of choice is doing it (or their cronies).

    re: Oh Please

Really, you're willing to believe that about one side, but not the other? I'm assuming you're a Romney fan. His campaign has been doing exactly what you said verses his "own kind" and hiding under the guise he can't control what others say (which is true).

It's too bad we don't have a real conservative in the race. We have a "liberal on paper and in vote" and a "not as liberal in speech, but just as liberal in vote".

So the Democratic advisor now wants to have everything glossed over, forgiven, and we all return to peace. That's great. She started it...

Consider this....These kinds of statements and much worse will continue to be made, not by Obama's official campaign, but by others on the "outside." They will actually be part of a carefully orchestrated sub-campaign of people who throw these things out into the public arena, just to get it "out." Then they will retract and be so sorry to have offended. It's a calculated effort to manipulate voters.
