I think its a good move...this way...Hayward wont have the pressure to take control of the game with the people he is currently playing with...although cleveland is not the team where we can actually gauge if the move is good...but hey...Hayward is shooting well...

Glad most of you posters aren't Jazz coaches.

The problem with the Jazz isn't who starts or doesn't. Little tweaks like this one might help a little, but until the Jazz get a bona fide superstar, there's little hope of advancing in the playoffs, if and when the Jazz can even get there.

I'm hopin' some roster changes happen before March 15th. Not necessarily to get a superstar, as that won't happen, but to get rid of some players who just aren't worth what they're being paid.

BTW, the main reason for starting Bell is his experience and defensive tenacity. If he also hits threes, that's a bonus.

I for the life of me don't understand this Playoff push stuff. Why push the playoffs for a first round exit when you can develop your young talent to make a strong run for the next couple of years?I hope this does not ruin Hayward. While he has struggled to shoot at times, he has done the little things that make him valuable he always hustles, he is a good passer and tries to play great D. Corbin talks about Hayward disappearing at times I have yet to see a game where Bell showed up! If it truly is to get the ball in his hands with the second unit fine if not we are making a pointless push for an early exit!

It really doesn't matter who starts and who comes off the bench. The high post pick and roll is what it is, and it isn't going to promote any of these guards. What do the Jazz have, three plays for the shooting guards? As long as we have a power forward that holds the ball for ten seconds before he shoots, (and he always shoots) then the guards will take desperation shots. This team doesn't lack for talent, it lacks coaching creativity and direction.

Final Word (Jazz Source) You said......Kevin Durrant was really bad and shot an awful % but he was allowed to keep shooting and losing for years...then he figured it out.

So why you so hard on CJ for doing the same thing? Something to think about....

Starting Bell????? Jerry Jr. back at it. Why in the world would you even play Bell. CJ should be starting in his place. No question, the Jazz are a better team with CJ getting the minutes in place of Bell.

This is kind of like re-arranging chairs on the deck of the titanic.

This team does not have the veterans to do anything worthwhile in the W. Conference.

Seriously? We are hanging our hopes on Josh Howard?

We are going to get slaughtered in the 1st round of the playoffs even if we did make it and then it will cost us a better pick in the draft.

Lets just get on with the losing and let the young guys play and learn. Now we are just watching the team lose with a bunch of verterans that won't be here in a few years anyways.

Not playing the young guys is just delaying where we need to get to.

Kevin Durrant was really bad and shot an awful % but he was allowed to keep shooting and losing for years...then he figured it out.

Lets just get on with it already.

    I called this one.

Someone asked me what happens, just last week, when Bell comes back. I told them Hayward should come off the bench.

Hayward has talent but at the same time I think he has been an overall disappointment. Its like CJ's shooting mojo has rubbed off on him. He can't throw it in the ocean either.

Overall I have been disappointed with Favors and Hayward this season. Favors has had some statistically irrelevent games lately. You see a move once a game and you go why....and that is the is once a game.

We are going to be waiting a long time if we are going to watch these two become the anchors of the team.

If you ask me Burkes is looking alot more promising than either of those two. Burkes needs minutes and alot more of them.

Hayward looks like a deer in the headlights half the time. Like the guy and he has the talent but his shooting is a disaster compared to how he finished last season.

Hope we done have another waste of time like CJ Miles on our hands.

Speaking of CJ, when are we going to waive him and improve the offensive/defensive ability of this team?

I understand the decision to start Bell with Howard because Howard will play best with a spot up shooter at the 2... Something that Burks and Hayward havent exactly shown this year. I hope this move doesnt ruin Hayward and he takes a little more initiative with the 2nd group. But if we end up seeing all these old guys for most of the game and we still dont make the playoffs.. then its all just of waste a season, really..

Raja Bell was hurt?! Funny, I haven't missed him. Why in the world is he starting again?

I've seen enough of Hayward for a while. Now whether the starter should be Burks or Bell is up for debate.
