I guess the coug fans would rather pile on the Utes while we are down than to focus on their own teams short comings.

All of us Utah fans knew this would be an ugly season for our basketball team. We knew that we had a handful of players leave the program and a new coaching staff. As bad as they are, they have exceeded many expectations especially with losing Foster and having the leading scorer dismissed from the team. They have shown signs of improvement and they have also fell flat a number of times.

As for Utah fans claiming a higher moral ground , that is laughable. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Ask any team that has spent time in the same conference as byu and you get the same answer every time about how the cougs are viewed by all.

It was bad behavior and there was no excuse for it. Just own up to it and move on. Hopefully your school will issue an apology to Saint Mary's - kind of like how they called for USU to apologize to them earlier this year.

Say it isn't so: the 6th worst team in Utah is the 11th best team in the conference of chumps?

There's one worse team than Utah in the PAC-12! How bad is this conference?

Thanks for the quote....please stay, don't go. Behavior like that is inappropriate regardless fan base. (I apologize for not sighting an example from the past - my bad)

MLH and all the other U fans assuming the moral high ground for fan behavior:

I leave you with a quote from Rick Majerus from 93 after he got up from the bench and grabbed the mic to talk to the crowd in the BYU Utah game in 93 at the HC:

"stop throwing things on the floor, you might hurt OUR players..."

That's a good one boy you really got one there. Way to represent, do you really feel good about these comments. No one should condone what happened, MC fans are there to watch the game not be a part of it. Shame, shame on you to even go there with a comparison, Ute Article.

Can't remember the MUSS ever getting a technical. Coach Rose and the team must be quite proud.

    cougar fans,

Thank you for your continued obsession with The University of Utah. Yes, we are having a terrible year in basketball. Yes it will take time to return the program to where it has been.

If it makes you feel good, please continue to kick the Utes while they are down. Please knock us for low attendance, lack of games on tv and being 11th or 12th in our conference standings.

Next year all of our games will be nationally televised. Our program will begin to get better with Foster back and some new players entering the program. We will also still be part of the PAC-12, an elite conference.

Maybe you should be focused on your own team and fan base that has a unique responsibility of representing our church as they cheer for their team. Some St. Mary's fans walked away with a bitter taste for BYU and our church because of your fans at the game Saturday night. Just a sport? No, not at BYU. Not at Notre Dame where the fans totally understand their role and would never behave that way. Putting on a BYU uniform or fan gear requires a LDS behavior.

Well at least we are talking about it. Way to represent who you are.

The entire MC could have thrown trash onto the court and it still wouldn't be as much or as offensive as the dumpster fire the Utes trot out onto the floor every game.

And while we're on the subject of stuff people don't want to talk about: it'll be easier to get the student section at the MC to quit throwing stuff on the court than for the Utes to have a winning season.

NEVER in the history of Ute bball has there ever been any "boorish" behavior. I guess they need to change the name of the MUSS to choir boys.

Probably better to talk about something that everyone knows - This year the Utes are bad. Than to talk about something some don't want to discuss - boorish behavior down south.

Yeah, I know the refs were is hard. No excuse for that kind of behavior.

    We're #11! (out of 12)

    Chris Hill needs a raise.
