Everyone keeps marveling at how good CJ has been playing of late but I can't get to excited when last 3 games have been 5 for 13, 4 for 11, 3 for 9 (and that was thanks to a layup and an uncalled bank shot 3 at the end of the Dallas game). Burks needs to play more.

We need a legitimate 3 point threat to stretch the defense even if it means giving up someone good that we like. (Milsap) Raja has started dropping the 3's but you need someone in the game at all times that has the defenses respect.

This team is not a serious playoff contender as is, which we are going to find out as soon as we hit our heavy, on the road reality check shortly.

I think we should go after Augustin at Charlotte, a point guard who is deadly from 3 and can drive and dish.

Sorry guys but we need a floor general! The isn't a perimeter player willing to take that shot when it's needed. Bell was shooting just fine, but then went away from him. Hayward doing a lot of energy stuff, but looks so pathetic with that half step pump fake, that it's getting embarrassing! I think the Jazz need to find a young pass first point guard to help this offense. Harris just holds the ball unless he drives, and when he drives he never dishes out. Half of the players holding the ball now, while the others stand around. They are looking more and more like they did at the end of last year. If we are content to have a two guard playing point, I'd rather have Price back, at least he played defense!

C'mon Ty lets get with it! This modification small change from the "Sloan" offense & defense just doesn't cut it in this league anymore. Why not implement from game films readily available to all teams more offense & defense from teams that are excelling now in this league? Utah from the day they moved here has "never" had a very good team defense and the offense during the Malone, Stockton years was just acceptable. Implement your own style not someone elses. Get films from others and open things up especially with the deep roster you have. The players put out 110% as long as they can then send in fresh ones giving them a breather but keep the pressure on the other team always, no slacking and lack of effort will be accepted needs to be your message to this young team! The lack of perimeter defense and weak wing play on offense is killing us! Lets change things now and get with it!

I agree with B Russ and Wombat. Keep realistic expectations this year and you'll enjoy the season a lot more. The main thing is develop the kiddie corps and if they end up making the playoffs, great. If not lets get another good draft pick and use the memo exception for a big trade and come out smoking next year.

typical reaction. Happy and Content. Do not care if lose or not...Well. I always care. The Jazz started off the 2nd and 4th Quarters poorly and contributed to the loss. The bench was not very good today. Evans had a chance getting rotation time ahead of Kanter and did not do great. Defensively getting schooled. Enes rebounded and good moves around the basket in his stint. As I have stated for 3 to 4 games,. the Jazz Defense is getting figured out and 3 balls being drained because no one wants to rotate. Gordon, Evans, Miles and about everyone else poor at this. Although Bell and Gordon played better Offense, D Harris probably did not get enough time. Earl usually plays well not tonight. We should be worried because Dallas missed 3 players. The Usual players hurt us. Odom, Beaubois and Terry. Carter stepped up. AJ had some moments when in position, but Haywood made it pretty tough. Also 2 Bl, 12 Pts & Reb.

    No perimeter defense.
    No perimeter offense.
The Jazz will soon be cellar dwellars. Just look at their schedule
for February and March- many, many road games.

    Time to be bold Corbin.

I wonder how long before Millsap gets upset and demands a trade?

    Utah Jazz= "rebuilding" since 2003.

Agreed - keep the rebuild going
More mins in Burks Kanter Favors & Evans
If Bell etc don't help train / mentor them - trade em
Happy to miss play offs this year & maybe next year to create a strong base for the future

    Enes Kanter!
What more can you ask for in 13 minutes of play from a rookie!
    Check the stats!
This kid has made a big statement for more playing time tonight!
I'm satisfied with the #3 pick in the 2011 draft!
    May the rebuilding projects begin!
