Hmmmmm. Now Zions Bank will have to buy another legislator to maintain their internal influence.

"Any candidate who is looking at federal office will find it becomes extremely difficult to do both jobs," said Clark, a banker...

I wonder if just any candidate running for the "job" of federal office can still keep a day job at some bank and still do both jobs...well.

What a novel idea, make the legislatures work for their pay instead of being out looking for a new job during the session.

"To leave such an august body and wonderfully dedicated public servants is difficult."
    -Representative David Clark, R-Santa Clara

Sounds like Rep Clark has been drinking the Legislature's Kool-Aid too long!

His heart may be heavy but mine is light and happy as I write this posting. Mr. Clark should resign to campaign because to do otherwise smells of blatant influence-pedalling. How can he not understand that? The people of Utah deserve better and now hopefully we will have a chance to have that.
