Come on Josh, Susans parents have not been arrested for child prornography like your father nor have they ever been accusted of abuse.

SignatureHome: The children were taken from their father because he lives in the house of a man that was arrested for child pornography.

The apple does not fall far from the tree. The kids are in a safe, loving home now.

The more Josh speaks, writes, draws attention to himself, the more he proves
that he is the problem and not the solution to the placement of those little boys who have been damaged by the loss of their mother.

Josh Powell is innocent til proven guilty. No reason those kids should have been taken away.

i thought the journals (as described by josh and his father)were full of susan's inappropriate behavior as a teen. now he says they are full of her abuse from her family. i think he needs to choose one script and stick to it.

Well Josh "Put up or Hush up", what I mean by that is "if were to help with the investigation then maybe thigs would be different for your kids". Josh as a parent put them there by his actions.................

I believe Josh you had started this mess yourself and by taking them camping in sub below zero weather on the night your wife came up missing and not being willing to work with the Law enforcement officer, by taking your children into your father's house knowing that the man is a prono addict, and now you are trying to say their grandparents are causing them harm, look at yourself and your action and what harm you put your own children in. Sounds to me like you are call the kettle black. Man up help found what has happen to your wife and work with the Law Enforcement Officers to soluve this case.

Did you see the comments made by Josh's sister on Channel 5 last night?

She says the boys are "thriving" at the grandparents' home now.

I agree with Josh. The kids are in a "hostile war". I believe he started it and is the cause of most of it.

Oh what a tangled web we weave, When first we practice to deceive. You made your bed, Josh. Now, just like the rest of us, you will need to sleep in it. Or you can do as I said from the beginning, tell the truth and get it over with.

As much as both families are embroiled in this disgusting saga the children need to be removed and placed in foster care, preferably in another state.

Everyone has there own opinions in this case, but let's allow the documented evidence to help lead us to an understanding. Read the stuff on the Powell websites. Read about Josh's mother's disappearance from the family and the effect it had on the kids and the Father's caviler attitude about it. This is one messed up family. This is an opinion derived from reviewing the factual evidence available. The Cox family on the other hand has less publicly available baggage. I can only judge them by what I have read. They seem to be fairly normal people who attend church and are not estranged from any members of their family. The children must be better off in this environment, though it is a shame that Josh has forbidden their church attendance. I know what I would want for my children, given these two options. I would have no fear of my children being with the Cox family.

harm, trauma, recklessness - you mean like taking toddlers 'camping' in sub-zero weather?

Of course no one seems to know the answer; but the police have searched high and low for clues, and so far nothing. So what if she really has run off to Brazil. Then what. If Josh Powell can not be proven guilty of some crime, then he should have father's rights to his children. But, it would seem that he should definitly distance himself from his father's house.

The children's suffering wouldn't be nearly as great if Josh Powell cooperated from day one in finding his wife. Before he speaks he should think about who caused this whole tragedy... that is who he should blame for his sons' turmoil.

Josh, if you are innocent, take a public lie detector test from experts acknowledged by the police and the FBI. This will help you in your quest to get what you want.

You must understand as things are now, you are not likely to get the benefit of the doubt from the public or from judges because people suspect you are guilty of killing your wife.

You can turn this around if you are innocent by following this advice.

On the other hand, if you are guilty, just continue doing what you are doing now, continuing to refuse to take any such test.

" Josh Powell says sons in middle of 'very hostile war' "

And who put them there Josh?

It would be much easier for me to believe Josh Powell if he had even once shown a willingness to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies in their efforts to find his wife. Also, why did he even think of taking those two children into the home of his father who has a known (to the family) history of being involved with pornography? I find it hard to believe anything Josh Powell says, based on his erratic behavior.

We have more than 40 grandchildren and more than 30 great grandchildren and openly admit that we have more confidence in the grandparents than we have in Josh Powell. However, if what Josh says is true, he can only blame himself for his children being with their Grandparents, because of his erratic behavior and refusal to assist law enforcement officers.

Which of the mythic claims Powell is making about the Cox family isn't factually true about Powell and his family?

Cry me a flipping river, Josh!

Your claims that the "...treatment of his children [is] "reckless," indicative of "an irrational vendetta against me," and said it is "sapping my sons' happiness and sense of security."

Perhaps the sons are unhappy and insecure because their mother suddenly went missing- on the night when you took them "camping" in the freezing desert on the spur of the moment.

Perhaps they are unhappy that you are not cooperating with the police who are trying to locate their mother, or more likely her body.

At some point the legal maneuvering is so far removed from reality that you have to ask wither "what is he hiding?" or "Who does he think he is fooling?"

The only people to be pitied in this sad, lingering case is the missing mother, her kids and her parents. My sympathy goes out to each of them, but no one else.

Come on, Josh. Actions will speak louder than a weak written declaration. Show your own children how much you love them by actively participating in the recovery of your wife and their mother. You lack of action speaks volumes.
