    The "Justice Party"

Is that about law and order, or is it another nonsensical OWS placard?

If the opinions presented in those comments are representative of the mainstream public opinion in your state, it becomes clear that Utah is an enormous intellectual and moral desert.

He's got my vote. Even if I were to vote for Obama, the fact is Utah will give its electoral votes to the GOP anyway, so my vote is only symbolic.

I could think of a lot of names for a party that Rocky Anderson could be a member of.

"Justice" is not one of them.

I don't agree with Rocky on a lot of things but any third is party is better than the current two party oligarchy we have in place. He would have my vote if it was him against Obama and Romney.

I believe Rocky Anderson would bring our great nation back to what the Framers intended.

I think you mean "farmers," or more accurately, cavemen. Rocky would put us back into the stone age.

Rocky, we need to talk. This addiction you have to the limelight isn't healthy. In fact, it's just embarrassing at this point. Oh not for us, we don't care about you any more. We're embarrassed for you. It's time for an intervention.

I know that this goes against all your instincts, and everything they trained you for at the ACLU, but it's time to stand down. Your time has passed. The next time you see a news truck drive by, remember that you are not the story. You are not related to the story. And if you show up AT the story, it just looks like pathetic self-promotion. Just put the microphone down, and slowly back away.

I didn't think anyone would vote for Gov. Ronnie "ketchup-is-a-vegetable" Reagan for President, either, but they did. And tomato paste on pizza is vegetable nationwide now. So there ya go.

This man need mental help. Perhaps he does not realize what a farce he was as Mayor and how the people of Utah cringe whenever he open his mouth. He should take up fishing or golf or writing a book that no one will read and fade into the sunset like all old cowboys.

My! this guy has really scared and offended a lot of right wing people in this state. But maybe he has a point! Seems like a lot of mostly ad hominem attacks in these comments. What about his point that both parties are not responsive to anyone but Wall Street, the wealthy and special interests?

I have to wonder if Romney would give him his full endorsement as a presidential candidate the way he did as a mayoral candidate in 2003. Mitt fully endorsed Rocky in 2003, but I think he might flip-flop on that position now.

Oh, poor Rocky. Someone hasn't been getting enough media attention lately. Isn't his 15 minutes up a long time ago? He's brought enough embarassment to our state hasn't he? But that's the great thing about America. You can say what you think, and if you can't think, as Rocky proves, you can say it anyway.

"I believe Rocky Anderson would bring our great nation back to what the Framers intended."

The ACLU has long taken the position that the Second Amendment protects a collective right rather than an individual right. Neither the Founding Fathers or the US Supreme Court agree. And yes, Ross Anderson was a lawyer for the ACLU.

The two dominant parties need to be shaken up and returned to the people. Term limits would be a great start. But competition from new parties is the best way to do it.

Rocky is probably not going to pull it off, but I salute his idea.
