I am one hundred percent in agreement with your views on this subject.
It seems the Church is very content with the joint names.

Even if the Church went to court [maybe already has] and lost, it would be on pubic record they attempted to separate themselves. This is such a dark issue for the true LDS church.

Until this happens LDS members will be looked at negatively and will constantly have to defend their faith on their own.

    Great comment

It doesn't seem right the way the Salt Lake Mormons post so much hate for the FLDS, it is almost schizophrenic self hate. The Salt Lake Mormons and the FLDS grew up in the arms of the same mother church. Where is the Christian love, the Salt Lake Mormons should embrace their sister church and help heal it with love and care.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think it was the very same judge Barbara Walther, who was responsible for the outrageous raid on the FLDS compound and separation of hundreds of children from their families, based on nothing else than "innuendo and supposition."

My question is: why wasn't this you-know-who simply not impeached for her conduct back then?

Oh for Heaven's sake, appoint him an attorney, tell him to shut up and get the trial DONE!

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints should move to trademark and protect the "Latter-day Saints" aspect of the church's name, and force these polygamists to find some other name. The entire country believes "fundamentalist latter-day saint" is the same as the Mormon church.

I don't know what Jeff's problem is but just give a court appointed one and move on! I'm tired of people like this that think they can play a game long enough the results might go their way.In his case I say fry himm.

Since Warren Jeffs keeps firing his attorneys the court should appoint one and then git-er-done.

Gotta love our legal system, this crap has been tying up courts and taxpayer dollars for 3 years now, and it'll go on at least 3 more.

This was not what our founding fathers had in mind when they created "Due Process"
