I think Abuo outplays the young freshman Collinsworth nearly every game. He is much more athletic, rebounds better, plays better defense and shoots better. I don't understand why he does not play more minutes.

I predict that the Cougs will again look like a top 10 team on Saturday...perhaps even a "Final Four" team?

    @Lowell Chad

LOL! What is this nonsense you spew? I'm as big a Coug as they come, but Matt Montague is a name I haven't heard for a looooong time. Are you the stat tracker for the stake? I don't really think Montague plays ward ball? Can he?

Great article, Bro. Harmon. Right on the $$$. BYU brought their A game to the pesky cadets and they couldn't handle it. They'll need that kind of performance at SDSU - where I predict a 10 pt. victory for TDS. Mark it down. You heard it here.

I agree with PerfectCougar. BYU is unstoppable if Jackson and Jimmer are playing at their best. The only player I'd rather see Jimmer play with than Jackson is Matt Montague.

Too bad they'll never get to play together because, from what I've heard, Matt has developed a sky hook that nobody in his stake can block. He went for 26 points, 4 rebounds, 18 assists, and 6 steals last Wednesday night in a 30-minute game.

Abouo is frustrating to me in that he is the best physical talent on the team, though Davies is coming on so strong that could now be argued, but his potential is not reached.

He simply thinks too much. The layin yesterday and the many layups that he does not finish come usually from thinking too much and fearing what is going on around him more than stasying focused on what he is doing.

I sincerely admire his talent and enjoy his abilities tremendously. I hope he can overcome the hestations on the perimeter and at the bucket. He is a special player and could be really special.

Rogers with more minutes and more confidence combined with Abouo with more confidence and we are a true powerhouse to be feared by all and to truly fear none.

Jackson needs to keep shooting. That is what he has done and it is paying off. We are not beatable when he is on and Jimmer is doing his thing.

Best pair of guards in the country.

The team played a great game. Cudo's to Roger's, Abouo, and Emery. Roger's is a great rebounder against those perceived to be more athletic. He really impresses me there.

I said yesterday that the more he gets to play the better his numbers. Just look at the games he got minutes - usually we got rewarded well.

@Live Hard, WYO stinks and always has, get over it.

BYU is having a special year, so let the fans enjoy the show. They may, or may not, make it past the sweet 16. Doesn't matter. At least they're there. Can't say that about WYO can we?

Why wouldn't Rose sit Jimmer after being up 30+ with 8-10 min to play? Game was out of reach at that point.

It's difficult going to Laramie in winter and finding energy. Take the added altitude with a target on your back and the cougs did quite well.

    Right on all counts!

Rose and his colleagues prepared the Cougars well for this game, and with Anderson and Collinsworth out the entire team stepped up.

I am confident that Saturday will be another high energy game against a "better than their record" Utah team.

Next week will be a key week!

Dick and Live Hard are both right.

Wyoming played the best they could possibly play; BYU played with a noticeable lack of energy; and the Cougars still managed to win their final game in Laramie.

Take off the red shades Die Hard. Air Force is NEVER tired and always play hard. It was just that BYU played up to their potential which they haven't since the SDSU game. Good article Dick Harmon.
