Jordan is a very classy team. hats off to mero, goldsmith and monson. they are a very good team and they play together. but their fans are the most disrespectful and classless fans i have seen. period. i was embarrassed.

Jordan actually led by 17 with under two minutes to go, but AF scored the last 7 points of the game against the JV. Jordan was without Alex Hart tonight as he was on a football recruiting trip, but the other five starters all scored in double figures tonight. Nice balance!

Jordan is all alone in first place in Region 4. Who would have thunk it?

    Go Diggers!

Very impressed with Nick Emery....looks like LP should retire his jersey number this Friday along with Jackson's! Jordan is a solid TEAM. Well coached and disciplined. They showed no signs of panic when they were behind in the game. They kept executing and played tough defense. Cudos to the bench players too for supporting their team throughout the game. Jordan should do well at State.

How do you say Jordan has a great team and single out 3 players? I would say those 3 had a great games but I think Monson kept us in the game for a stretch. Hart and Loomis worked harder than any player on the court defensively and Smith played well.
How do you say its a great team when you're trying to single players out? Jordan is a great team because everyone knows their role. Thats what makes a great team.
    Go Diggers!!!

  • 29 Points??

As a Freshman? Is that a type-o? If not, get me a schedule, I gotta see this kid play! Wow-that's impressive. When I was a Freshman I was just happy to get my uniform on correctly.

Mero, Goldsmith, and Morgan played so well in this game! Jordan is such a great team. They play so well together and Geertson is a great coach. When Mero hits threes Jordan wins. Also, Goldsmith blocked emery a lot on his drives in the 4th and overtime. Very impressed with emery though. Up next is American Fork at the Beetgarden!

  • Congratulations JHS

Both teams played very well lastnight, but I want to tell our Jordan players how proud we are of them. Everyone played great defense lastnight and great TEAM ball. You stayed very composed and continued to play hard the entire game. Keep it up!

There has been a lot written about Freshman Nick Emery...not a surprise...he is amazing. But he came up through the ranks of AAU with a group of kids that are pretty amazing as well. They traveled the country & were the most successful team to come out of Utah since Dan Cowan's team won Nationals. Check out the Freshmen at Brighton, Jordan, Bear River, East, Box Elder & Granger who are making major contributions to jv/varisty this season. There is even another freshman at Lone Peak that deserves some attention. I would love to see a piece on this talented group of players!

I was very impressed with Jordan last night. Their kids played hard, and they defended us as good as anyone has this year. (Emery hit some tough shots, and hit a lot of free throws to get his points) Jordan is extremely well coached, and their players just kept playing and playing despite their early struggles. Congrats to Jordan on their win at our place.

Lone Peak needs a win on Friday to stay in the race. Go Knights!

Jordan played excellent team ball. They deserved to win. LP had too many mistakes down the stretch; missed lay-ups, free throws, and turnovers. LP still needs to learn how to finish a game. Both in the fourth quarter and overtime they had leads and didn't finish.

I think Jordan will do very well in the state playoffs. LP is going to be fine, they are so young. We really need Hamilton back to help with points in the paint. That being said- it was a hard fought game. Jordan deserved the game.

Great game! Great job Jordan. Jordan plays very as a team - everyone knows there job and plays very well together. Smart play won this game. Kudos to Lone Peak on a great team. This was the first time I saw Nick Emery play, he is incredible! He has a quick shot and doesn't miss.
    This region is unbelievable...
