It looks like to me the people who are furthering this stupid Max Hall incident are commenters who have nothing better to do than go on websites and make comments ripping on someone (did you notice this was written days ago, when the incident actually happened?). What if your picture was attached to your stupid and rude comments? Would you still make them??? Did it ever occur to you that this reporter was just having fun, adding something light to the news? I know for some of you people it would hurt to have to think a little, but just thought I would ask. Since this is a basketball article, how about we, ummm talk about basketball?
Let's hope Brewer & Boozer can keep up the good work this weekend, especially away, since they will not have had a road game in over two weeks.

just leave it to media to make a mountain out of a mole hill. to heap extra gravy on the mashed potatoes, to well you get the idea. Why do a story on what Jazz hate? No reason except that you ran out of ideas to further the Max Hall Hatred topic.

Max and his hate seems to have rubbed off on some of you posters on this sight. Who's this guy that sits and bashes C.J. all the time, when he is not even playing right now? Chill out Dude, you can criticize him after he gets back and is playing.

    One thing I hate?

People who think they know more about coaching than a hall of fame coach.

If we have learned one thing it is this. SLOANS SYSTEM, when the players run it properly and we have the personnel to execute it, will absolutely DEVOUR MOST TEAMS most nights.

When the players won't run it properly, can't hit an outside shot, or bother to play defense then THE PLAYERS own the loss.

Its really pretty simple.....so I figured you might be able to understand it.

We have too many short, defensively lazy, and poor outside shooting players.

    Those are the problems.

One thing I hate; Jerry Sloan's coaching.

  • Coaching Grades
    Nov. 30, 2009 9:01 a.m.

Hoopsworld has put out coaching grades. They gave Sloan a B+. I actually tend to agree with them that Sloan has done a decent job as of late.

The losses to OKC, SAC and HOU still upset me but all of those teams are about .500 and most teams have a least one bad game. That still leaves 2 that should not have been lost.

But Sloan now has the Jazz running the offense. POR tried to pack the paint and zone but the Jazz are hitting outside. The hot outside shooting opened up the inside. Sloan's system is a carving knife when the spacing is right.

Hopefully the outside shooting will stay good.

I would give Sloan an A for implementing daily defensive feedback based on video of playing footage. That is a major step forward.

Since I am often critical of Sloan's ways I thought I would give him credit when he has earned it.

I can't believe you can say the Jazz "hate" anything. "Hate" is a very strong word!!!

I personally found this article funny. I enjoy following Jody's articles and find his humor a nice addition to the sports section.
Now let's hope the Jazz will get their act together and have a good rest of the season.

Because you asked, there is a point to this article or column. Each week I pick a topic relating to the Jazz and come up with 5 responses/answers/comments. The idea is to give readers a lighthearted and/or interesting, complementary column. It also helps get me out of the horrible chore of watching football on Sundays.

In the paper, it has "Coming attractions," an offbeat Q&A and some other extras that you normally don't get in our daily coverage.

Maybe next week I'll include a laugh track so the audience knows when to chuckle.

I disagree. I thought some of these were pretty good. Since Booz can't say neener-neener to fans, I'll do it for him, since I did say that there was no way Jazz fans could continue to boo a guy who's averaging 20-10 for them. If we could see some more of the defense he's played lately, we can all be happy.
