Global warming is just a PART of global climate change. Sounds like many posters here flunked basic science in junior high. Also, many posters seem not to know the difference between CLIMATE and WEATHER. Weird!

Climate change wasn't on my liberal agenda, today. Don't blame me that the best educated and most intelligent scientist believe in climate change.

I'm like an investor in a way. Pass performance is indicative of future performance. What have conservatives invented, but things to focus their hatred on? What have they been right about?

Once again for those of you who don't get it:
Weather does not equal climate. An October snow storm (which typically happens each year) does not negate decades of data showing that the global temperature is rising.

Also, Svante Arrhenius (look him up) laughs at your attribution of global warming to Al Gore.

I am not a great proponent for pushing liberal ecological agendas, but extreme weather is believed to be part of the problems caused by global warming. Just because it snows and it is cold doesn't mean that global warming is a hoax. Extreme weather means extremely hot or extremely cold. When there is more heat in the atmosphere, it creates more active weather fronts, hot and cold. Don't make yourself look stupid. Study up before you make dumb comments!

GOOD job Utah DOT for cleaning those roads looks like another year of slacking on the job that us tax payers pay for, not like we DONT have enough salt to salt down the roads and keep them clean!
RE:Byot09: I am happy you like in California JUST stay there cause we Utahn's DONT want you here! You California's come here from a place you HATE and want to turn it into a "little" California, well us Utahn's that have lived here all our life dont want you OR your ideals here in Utah! The science books need to be updated. GLOBAL WARMING WAS A FARCE, and that is proven science. Look it up. The melting ice caps? Wind pushing it into warmer water. What happens when you put and ice cube in warmer water than the ice cube? It slowly starts to melt.

Not sure how this storm is evidence of global warming. Not saying that Global warming does or doesn't exist either. The jury is still out. It has snowed in late October before.

I live in Seattle and had 10" of global warming in my drive way for two weeks last year. That is very rare for this part of the country.

I expect more of the same this year. Good thing we were warned about global warming or I would have really been surprised.
