Thank you, Deseret News, for letting us know about this less invasive procedure.

Cancer treatment has become a huge, assembly-line business. I hope there will be more individualization in the near future, and more aware doctors who keep up on the latest research and techniques.

  • Alternative Medicine?

when is the ACS and the AMA etc. going to quit fighting alternative medicine and give the patients a chance. If proceedures do no harm they should be allowed. Chemo and radiation do harm, and often give negative results. Our system fights many good proceedures that have worked, even for Kidney and liver cancer with alternative medicine. No, I am not a practioner but I have seen the results in both fields ... my cousins wife died of over radiation he reported, he is a prominent physician.
The Cancer Centers of America has opened the door to alternative forms of treatment and are trying to make them available nationwide. Hope they are successful in breaking down the barriers erected by the powers that be. Canada has successfully done this.
