  • Last time?

The last time one of our two guard or SF got 9 rebounds, unless I'm mistaken, was not long ago, and it was KORVER again, with 9....LOL I could be wrong, but I remember being a bit bummed because he just barely missed a double-double (like last night).

It was an impressive win!!!So fun to see everyone on their game! Especially great to see Korver so effective! Loved those rebounds Korver!! Most of all love to see the shooting hand coming around! Keep Korver in the starting 5 he has what it takes to be there! He puts everything he has into every game!
He's Millsap without all the muscle!!!

I loved the rebounding we got from everyone on the court. Dwill 5, when was the last time one of our two guard or SF got 9 rebounds as Korver did? Even Brewer hit the boards hard. Getting that many boards from your smaller guys is huge esp when Sap and Okur got their double digit rebounds as well. If the Jazz can continue to board like that they will make the playoffs.

what an enjoyable evening of utah jazz basketball. Dirk how does it feel? Millsap and friends in your face all night, is it not something what you can do when you play defense. I have very little to criticize, sure i started having attacks watching the 1st half watching those mav guards line up behind the line getting ready for a pass for a 3 that never even came. I guess Dallas could not understand spacing. If Kyle who has such a love for the game plays like this rest of year we can do some damage. the hustle, defense, steals and the shot was back! D-Wil i could have watched you all night the way you played, Millsap what a job in Dirk, Okur good shooting and i saw you made an effort on d also-guys played with energy and passion-please please no let downs this weekend, Brew all the boys did great

  • New Strategy

What I see is a new strategy. I am not sure if it is William's or Sloan's but I doubt if it is Sloan's.

DWill tried this in Portland and it did not work since the Bigs did not rebound. However, tonight by circumstance both he and Korver were starting. Both of them shot a lot of 3s. That opens up the interior and helps the Bigs a lot. DWill hitting from the outside helps Korver a lot. He is open more.

I would suggest that Sloan get a little flexibility and start Korver from now on with DWill. Further, DWill needs to keep taking (and making) outside 2s and 3s. His assists were also good tonight (not at POR).

CJ will play better on the second team. His scoring ability is needed there (AK gone) and his defense will not be as difficult.

The Jazz are a very dangerous team if they have their regular inside game with the option of an outside game.

If the Jazz win tonight we will know that they are getting it together. Okur is the key. If he plays well the Jazz win.

I have to admit that Kyle Korver is better than Miles. I guess I need to go back on vacation. I have been humbled and now know the error of my ways. Please trade Miles and start Korver for the rest of the season.

so they were tired,so what, we beat them and that is all that counts. tonight the jazz played like a well oiled machine. I didn't see one thing to be critical about. when ak and boozer return we should push past Portland, then denver. go jazz go.
