Too bad they can't come up with enough money to make her not just look, but sound intelligent when being interviewed, there apparently isn't enough money to teach her the statistics, and facts on her own running mate, quite humorous that the conservatives find it okay that she is spending all this money just to "look good"... LOL what a joke!!!!! I love it!!!!! From a girl who has never owned one clothing item from a high end store such as Neiman Marcus, maybe they could send some of the $150,000 wardrobe my way, I could use a hot short skirt to wear on national television while I debate a man with far superior knowledge of our Country's history, our government, wow even more knowledge on HER beloved "Maverick"... I am going to be laughing the rest of the night about this. Thanks Mrs. Palin for the laughs, YOU ARE QUITE THE JOKE. And even more thanks to you middle class republicans who don't even research what/who you are voting for LOL!!!!

How does Joe The Plumber feel, now that he knows his $100 donation helped pay for $5,000 worth of hairstayles and makeup?

    Or...that Todd Palin got a $5,000 suit.

BTW, for you Obama-blamers: Obama owns five, identical good-quality off-the-rack suits that he paid $1500 for. He's had them for the entire campaign. Three of Obama's suits cost less than one Todd Palin suit. Obama also has 3 pairs of shoes....and at least one pair has holes in the soles.

WHO is the elitist? WHO wants to give the tax-breaks to the higher incomes? Now you know why!

Joe the Plumber finally had to admit, when he actually understood the figures that he would be better off under Obama.

No, what is remarkable is that we have a candidate that tries to pass herself off as just a regular hockey mom - fighting corporate and government crime, fighting for the little guy - while shopping at Neiman Marcus and Saks -- I can't afford to get in those places, let alone drop six figures - -but the best part -- the "I plan to donate the clothes to charity" really gets to me. Yeah, what charity might that be? Your high school pals or the Alaska Independent Party? She is no more 'like me' than Marie Osmond is. Sheesh.

Obama doesn't need to be negative because the media does it for him. Pew did a study and found only 14% positive coverage for McCain since the last debate and 60% negative. Obama has 36% positive, 35 mixed and 29 negative (probably from FOX). If you really want to see Bias, just look at how Bidens stupid statement got swept under the rug from most media outlets. If Palin made that statement it would be in full rotation on the networks and written about in every newspaper.

I find the media disgusting, pathetic, irresponsible and unethical. Joe the plumber got more scrutiny by the media then Obama has gotten this whole year and all he did was ask a question. The media would rather crucify him then question Obama about his "Spread the Wealth" answer. Go back to the Democratic primaries and see how the reporting was done then too. Puff pieces, defending him from attacks and going after people who question him. I think we are getting a sneak peek at state run media.

As George Bush would say, Palin is sending 'mexed missages.' On the one hand, she's a down-home regular person like the rest of us, and feels our pain in these trying economic times. But on the other hand, she needs to spend the equivalent of a starter home on some clothes to campaign in. I don't feel I can bond with her on that level.

Please expand your tv viewing beyond Fox News. All of these issues have been beat to death by the press. Republicans continally focus on negative campaigning...

Let's not mention the suit of Obama at an appearance which cost a pretty penny and was personally fit to him. We won't mention William Aires, Rev Wright, Father Flagger, or any of the other questionable friends and aquaintances and connections for Obama. The press won't mention Pharakhan, or Obama's economic ties with Fanny & Freddie and the millions they made there while leading those organizations, or the campaign contributions to Obama by these organizations or the fact that Momar Kadaphi Endorses Obama for President! No, no, no..... that stuff isn't "NewsWorthy"??? I guess the lingo has changed cause the fact is, "You betcha, it is!" it just isn't "Media Worthy"!

So, what is the point of this article? Doesn't anyone recall how much Hillary used to spend, to fly a hairdresser in to D.C., from Hollywood, on a personal jet? And is anyone so niave as to believe that Obama doesn't spend a small fortune on those well fitting, custom tailored suits that he likes so much?

Come on! Doesn't everyone smell the onesided news reporting here?

If there was ever an appropriate time to use the old saying, "you can put lipstick on a pig, and it's still a pig", this would be it.
