    It was okay. I didn't think JJ was THAT bad.

    I on the other hand actually enjoyed watching "Pilot". I thought it had all the right elements to making it a great tv series...i actually thought it was a movie...but other than that i think they did a good job.

    Fringe has been available on the Internet for months. I've seen the pilot and it does not bode well for the series if future episodes are anything like it. Interesting, X Files-like premise, but the pilot was really lame. I see potential though.

    Also, one correction, true science fiction does not let you just make things up as you go along. In true science fiction, the imaginative elements largely adhere with established laws of nature, etc. Unfortunately, a lot of fantasy/horror/speculative fiction and the like has been categorized as science fiction. Just because a story/movie/whatever contains some sort of techhnology or is set in the future, does not mean that it is science fiction. The fact that Fringe just makes things up as it goes along actually disqualifies it as science fiction.
