David worked hard to get where he is at ,and I wish him the best . It just goes to show you how a real football player never gives up in the class room because they know how to apply the football work ethics off and on the field . Just Remeber this quote David Every Day is a Work Day ." Good luck and God bless you and your family . !!! Coach Parker

Great pickup Utah! This guy is definitely the real deal. You can never have too many good recievers and he looks like a good fit for Utah where he can run those wide receiver screens that us Cougar fans hate so much.(tough to defend) Good luck against Michigan. Very winnable game. Go Cougars!1

Very nice job Kyle on this recruit. I'm looking forward to see him play. This year lets not give the Cougars a "GIVE ME WIN", we had them beat the last two years. Keep up the good work!!!

Its one thing to say how much you wish something had happened differently in your past.....but when you chose gangbangin over academia, you will end up wishing the rest of your life!

This guy sounds awesome. I love his attitude. This is exactly the kind of athlete everybody should want. Someone with humility that can go out and tear it up. Salt Lake is glad to have him, and he will have a blast here because of his attitude. Our receiving corps is going to be very deep this year. Hopefully BJ will stay healthy so that he can throw the ball deep and have some of the plays that make everyone say Wow. I can't wait for the Michigan game.
I like the Utes schedule this year as well. If they can get past a Michigan team that is still recovering, they will have the time to develop the defense before their big tests later in the season. It could be a great year.

Sounds like a great player. We'd better make sure we know where he is when we play you Utes. Good luck against Michigan. There's alot of us Cougar Fans who hope you guys get a win over there in the big house. It will help the conference out tremendously.

Hey Texas Cougar, I like your comments and perspective. You give me hope that there can be some civility between Ute and Cougar fan.

Sounds like a real home-run. If we can stay healthy, the sky's the limit. Our D will always be solid and we have the O-Line to accomplish great things this year. August 30th is almost here!!!!!!

Does anybody know if he like the new uniforms? After all thats the most important thing of being a ute.

I like that Reed plays off his records by saying that he ran a lot of screens (as if that isn't the hardest way for receivers to get yards in football). He sounds like a gutsy receiver that is going to be well utilized in the offensive system. I've got to say I'm a little jealous that Utah got this guy. He sounds like he's going to be a real impact player.

111 receptions and 166.1 yards/game, WOW. I'd be hard pressed to do that on a video game. You can't argue with production. Thanks for coming to utah David, We are excited to see you make some plays for us this fall.

  • Utes are talented

The Utes are going to be stacked at the receiver position. Brown and Godfrey are tall, sure handed, move the chains kind of guys. Casteel, Brooks, and Wesson are big play receivers that have break away speed and are very shifty. Plus, with the addition of David Reed and Aiona Key, there's no question this is the most talented and deepest receiving corps in the MWC.
