My parents just turned in their papers for a mission. They requested to go to Sweden since that is where my family is from and 2 of my brothers and my dade went there and all still speak really swedish. I am excited for them and miss that I cant serve another mission until I do it with my wife. Good luck to all those people who are called and inspired to go, just keep doing the good things

We've served two full-time missions since retiring and loved it. We first served a full-time proselyting mission to Germany, and then a full-time mission with the Church and Family History Department around Temple Square. Great opportunities and many fond memories and friendships. Since we have 26 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, we don't want to be gone all the time. Thus, in between full time missions we serve locally as Church Service Missionaries. It is always fun to meet other seniors who have served multiple post-retirement missions. We love to hear the news from all the missions of the Church. We have been blessed in every way by serving as senior missionaries!
