my opinion... the comments by "soccerfan" and "unbiased" (who are probably the same person) are also probably being written by ms. rslfm herself. we all know she doesn't really exist and is a collection of men who don't know where to find their own content so they decided to steal from AYL, which is the BEST RSL BLOG OUT THERE.

I agree with soccerfan about RSL-FM being an outstanding blog who's readership transcended soccer into local politics and art. It is definitely missed by everyone who wasn't either jealous or threatened by it.

rslfm was nothing but invented news tabloid journalism looking for controversy where there wasnt any and stealing content from other people. thats why rslfm got shut down you know. if rslfm was so great why did she steal content from others, ayl in particular?

This article should have mentioned the now defunct but great It was THE best RSL blog for news and photos and tons better than aylsoccer, which I find pretty useless and poorly written. I know a number of non-soccer fans who followed the team just because RSLFM was so good and provacatively written each day. REal just isn't as fun since it went away.

    Just my opinion.

Are idiots with nothing better to do but sit at a computer drink pepsi and eat chips while they write crap about each other . The rest of the world has a real life. No one takes these guys serious there all a bunch of loseres.... Hang on while I grab a new bag of chips.

I'm also a fan of independent voices. Many of them (including the ones mentioned in this article) do a better job than even the mainstream media because they tend to care more about what they cover and they can deliver more kinds of coverage since they're internet based.

So if we want our favorite blogs to continue, the best thing we can do is support them.

And kudos to blocku, slcdunk, and aylsoccer: All of you do outstanding work!

As a Ute fan, Block U has been a great source for Utah football and basketball news, insights and fun commentary.

    Thank you Jazzy

It's nice to see more independent voices getting heard over the din of the mainstream media. If the trend continues, sports fans might even have to start thinking for themselves and stop listening to Jim Rome and his ilk for all of their sports information. Kudos.
