I think I know the difference between a car load of people intent on mayhem and
someone joking about mustard. You don't seem to be able to discern
between them. In that case, leave your guns home and keep your windows rolled up
when you drive.
Insanity, pure and simple. We hope the gun toter does hard time for assault with
a deadly weapon.By the way, your competitor had this story
Have you ever heard of a sense of humor? Your gun sentiments are what make some
think NRA-advocates are complete whack-o's. (And I'm pro-gun)
Pranks can be just as deadly and not considered passe anymore. They lead to this
kind of reaction and who knows the real conversation between the two. How was
the driver to know it the prank was going to lead to a more deadly situation?
Had he not had a gun we could be looking for the perpetrators of a homicide for
his death. First defense is cause to protect ones self and these charges are
unfounded and now all instances of pranks and real threats will be put into
question. A car load of individuals will have the option of lieing when
confronted with self defense actions. Another open book to criminal behavior to
try and rob, steal, and harm individuals defending themselves. The charges
should be dropped and the pranksters charged with assault. Why give criminals
and criminal behavior more leverage over self defense? It is not assault to ward
off would be attackers with the show of a gun, it is our right to do so.
