What's the story here? This person is obviously a female with facial hair. Never been to Mexico? Sheesh.

NOt in the sense the woman, the grandmother, in the story uses "have" regarding men.

So are you saying that women who have C-sections never "have" their babies?

A man can bever have a baby.

Even IF they could grow one to term it would be taken cesarian.

Hence, a man will never "have" a baby they just don't have have the lower anantomy necessary for it.

Owning the power over the media, our home allows inside a wonderful use of modern technology. We omitt all TV and seek what's interesting enough to learn more about. A pregnant man was a 'broad'cast. It must have been popular enough in the mainstream media for a colleque to repeat the story at work. We know the power to create man will never exist on this planet. I firmly agreed to disagree with one's assertion. Thank you Deseret News for giving our home the first hand news on the topic of a male giving birth. Gender is part of the creation and can be altered but not created. He was procreated a female and is in fact a pregnant female.

Transgender people have been around for as long as humankind has, and they'll be around until the end of time.

They don't have to "sell" anything--they don't need your approval. They're not asking your permission to exist.

The fact is, I'm not nosy enough to think I can determine another person's "true" gender. If somebody tells me he's a man, I'm willing to take his word for it. If you're obsessive enough to poke your nose into places it doesn't belong, you deserve what you get.

this is a non story. It's a woman having a baby just like nature intended. She is NOT a He.

In the 1960's there was talk that people would no longer have to eat meals, we could get all the nutrition we need from pills, which would be much more convient than having to sit down at a meal.

At the time as a kid I bought it, but now I see that even if possible, it would never go over and neither will this.

The genie is out of the bottle. Things will just keep getting more and more complicated. I guess it's okay for trans-gendered people to marry, but not gays? Oh well, good luck sorting it all out once the "cloning" starts up.

this "it" was on the news a few months back, it is a woman who decided to become a man so for the media to make out a man is pregnant is hype and false and it is making money of the suckers

Excellent comments all. Let's say down the road they exhumed this "guy's" remains. When they examined the corpse and did a DNA test and found 2 X chromosomes, the medical examiner would loudly proclaim "its a woman we have here." By the same token, when this "man" enters a restroom, does he stand at a urinal to do "his" business, or use a stall? (Of course, if the shoe was on the other foot, how many women would tolerate a "woman" standing there doing "her" business?

I did, however, get a kick about the comment about the "man" shaving. Heck, I have a neighbor who has been passing herself as a woman for years, and is the mother of six kids who could use a good shave without the use of any pills to get her there.

Just because you have a boy named "Sue" doesn't change the facts.

"As for the baby? It's a Girl! At least for the moment." Sad, but I laughed.

It may not look or sound like a duck anymore, but if it's got a duck's genotype, it's a duck, just with some freakish cosmetic surgery.

If some guy can get pregnant, will there ensue a whole debate about whether he can get married in Utah? Will we try to butt in if he can get married in California?

Enter comment: It is not a man, it has the physical body of a female just because it decides in its mind it is a man does not make it a man physically so the whole thing is a deception.

The reason Thomas Beatie gave birth is because Thomas Beatie is still a biological FEMALE.

Your gender is determined by your genitals, NOT your heart.

This is one "advance" that has run its course.
