    This is not inflationary, because food and fuel are not part of the inflation index. Go figure.

    This is the biggest scam going on in the country. The Fed blames "high energy and food prices" for a week economy. The dirty little secret that should be broadcast from every media outlet is that the Fed is the CAUSE of the weak economy! It's not so much that commodities have increased in price, it's that the Fed has caused the weaking of the dollar to the point that everything takes more weak dollars to pay for the same items. But are they going to tell you that? Not on your life! THEY are the cause of the speculation bubbles. THEY are the cause of the weakening dollar. THEY are the reason our economy is taking a nose-dive. And we just accept it as the way things are.
