It's interesting that you try to claim that BYwoo is going to be higher in the rankings in the AP and Coaches polls. I was looking it up and neither of those polls has been released yet. Hmm...And it seems all the experts at fox sports etc. whose job it is to know more about all of college football then you do, seem to think Utah will be the better team this year. But if you want to keep living in last season that's your right. Never mind the fact that the zoobs lost most of their defensive talent to graduation this year. But really, who needs defense to win right? oh wait...

I wonder what kind of excuse byu fans will try to pull when utah beats michigan by at least 14, and then the next week when byu gets a loss at washington. Byu fans better stop running their mouths before they get there feet shoved in their mouths when they loose to utah this year, and better not say anything till they actually get to a bcs game.

    GO UTES!!

The only sophmores to committ were Bills safety now a 4* recruit rated the 6th best safety in america!!! Adam Timo a 4*running back ranked 27 in the nation! Utah would jump all over them if they could. Two sophmores offered this past year,Brandon Kafusi, already a man among boys, and a name Utes will learn to hate Jake Heaps...QB

    Re: The Big House

If that's how Michigan sees Utah, they're in for a L August 30.

    Hey Utes,

Quit bragging about playing at Michigan the first game of the season. It is a pay day game like when Utah St. plays at Nebraska. You do realize that you are to Michigan what Northern Iowa is to BYU. You are being used as a "practice" game for the team to warm up for the regular season. Real programs schedule home and home series. Pay day programs take their money and run. Talk smack when Michigan or Notre Dame plays at Rice -Eccles. There will be no Appalachian St. miracle this year. There is no way Michigan loses after what happened last year. In fact, that's the only reason the Utes are playing in Michigan. The Wolverines didn't want to take another chance with another 1-AA team so they scheduled the Utes. The Utes have the talent to beat the Wolverines but they will fall apart at the big house because they are used to playing in front of 20,000 at Rice-Eccles.

Hmmmm, talking smack about pre-season polls isn't too smart. Just ask Michigan, Texas, Lousiville, Florida, etc. Oh and by the way, while we're playing in the big house you'll be playing some team from Iowa somewhere.

The only polls that matter are the USA today Coaches poll, Harrison and the AP poll. These are the only polls that matter to the BCS and the National Championship. Do you really think that the yewets are going to start out in the top 25 in either of these polls??? Come back and talk smack after you see the Cougars in the top 25 in both of these two preseason polls with the Utes being one of the honorable mention teams, some where around 40 to 45. After the Utah gets smacked around in the big house it will be extremely quit in sugar house for some time.

The Cougars and Utes will both have very tough teams. We all might be less stressed just to admitt that. The blow out days of either school over the other appear to be long gone. Sportsmanship and respect do wonders for people. It's a better life.

re; paul carter. You say the Utes will be lower in the conference standings, and yet according to fox sports the Utes are picked to win the conference title this year, and if you look in the preseason magazines (ex. Phil steele, the top rated preseason magazine) the Utes are higher in the rankings then your precious zoobies. That would be a 14th ranking in case you're wondering. So please enlighten us as to the validity of your argument.

If the UTES don't already have quality talent as you infer, how sad is it for BYU that they need back-to-back miracles to beat Utah?

Even sadder for BYU, how bad are the future beatings from the UTES over the Cougars going to be after the 'quality talent' arrives?

If Kyle was following Bronco he would be getting commits from sophmores not kids that will be seniors this fall.
Furthermore, for utes and cougs alike, please no talk of star ratings before the kids have played there senoir year.

Looks like the Yewts are finally getting quality talent on their team.

Kyle did say he didn't like the idea of early commitments, however he also said that if other programs are going to do it then the Utes will have to do the same.

He isn't following Bronco's lead. BCS schools started doing this long before Bronco or Kyle.

I watched him play a game here in CA; he is a steal for Utah.
