Things being worse or better then they where 5,10, 15, or 20 years ago. Has very little to do with skin color. It has to do with what you do while inside your skin color. There are lots of skin colors other then Black and White, Poor Whites have the same problems as Poor Blacks, or poor any other color. The problem is that they are POOR OF MIND. They have been told that they cannot change their circumstance, and they believe the LIE. This is why Obama raised in Hawaii is doing as well as he his. His mom was many things and educated was one of them. His Grandparents stressed Education and Berry caught and Ran with the Ball. If you are other wise normal the only person that keeps you down is you. Yes I know it can be Hard some times very hard. However it can be done if you want it bad enough. I have a friend who at 26 with a family decided to go to school. He was 34 when he got his Masters. He said he was going to be 34 regardless so it might as well be with a Masters

Yeah, well I don't think any group or the nation as a whole has made any progress in the past 5 years. I don't think most people feel that society has progressed much over the last decade really. Stop trying to make everything a racial issue, it just desensitizes all of us for real issues. The race card gets old when it's pulled on every little possible argument, give me a break!
