For those allergic to Peanuts/peanut butter, a great alternative in this recipe
would be to use Tahini Sauce (usually found in the Oriental food aisle). It is
made from sesame beans and is what is used in regular hummus. It does cost more
than peanut butter, but in roasted form tastes remarkably like peanut butter,
and is still good in its regular form, too.
