Since when does southern utah have claim to the success of Dixie maybe since the first blog of the year said that southern utah will get smoked at if they played in the northern regions and that southern utah doesn't have a chance to win against teams like cottonwood and others. By the way if Dixie wins state it makes Snow Canyons 14 - 8 record look a lot better then the other 10 teams at state that had worse records and are sitting home right now! Can you say that Snow Canyon, Pine View and Dixie will all be back in the top 5 like they were all year!!!!!!!!! Go KANAB!!!

Springville has been on a roll since losing to Cyprus in the first round of the tournament. The Red Devils avenged their loss to the Pirates in Wednesday's early game, rolling to an 11-1 win in six innings. Springville's hot streak has been no fluke, as it has outscored its opponents 42-6 in its last five games.

Since when does "southern utah" have any claim to the success of Dixie High School? Does it make Snow Canyon feel better for their last place finish if Dixie does well at state? Is Kanab going to put a team picture of the 2008 Dixie Flyers in their trophy case?

By the way, it's great to see Cottonwood getting smacked around a little. I think it's a good day to send them all home to their various locations throughout Salt Lake Valley. Go Springville.

Hope that Springville keeps up their game and wins the title and knocks the sas out of the Flyers and the Colts. They have played good ball coming from the first losers bracket, they are showing they have what it really takes to want a championship to win, good luck today, hope you have what it takes to win the whole thing.

Oops, I forgot that Springville is only playing in one game today, not the plural word "games", my bad, lol.

    Nice wins Red Devils!

No matter the outcome of the game today (Hopefully games) you guys have represented Springville High School well, as well as Region 7 this season.

Good Luck today whoever you play and hope you make it to the Championship game tomorrow.

    RED DEVIL PRIDE!

Do you mean none besides Dixie who is still in the winners bracket? Way to give the death blow to Cyprus though. Sweet revenge. Good things come to good people and vise versa.

Nice comment but it looks to me like southern Utah has been represented well in this 4A tournament. Pine View had a top 4 finish and Dixie is still there. Not to take anything away from Springville and Cottonwood. All we said is that we can compete in 4A and make a good run and we've done that!

Where are all the PV comments now? All I've read on these blogs is how incredible the So. Utah teams are and I gotta say. . . . I can't find any still alive!
