I expect lots of "pop gun" quality attacks featuring everyone from pastors to
lawn care labor to the bowling coach. They hope that people won't figure it out
in time that these attacks have almost no substance. It's worked before.
McCain's idea to put Obama on the defensive should prove to be a risky
investment. Of course, if Obama is put on the defensive, what then? He'll
still be in the race, and he'll still be a problem. I don't know, maybe I'm
naive and don't know anything about politics, but I just can't see this helping
McCain out THAT much.
