The Jazz are young and have players that have the potential to be on the allstar
team in the future. In two or three years several players will be in contention
to make the allstar team. I like what the future holds for the Jazz, time will
tell but there is talent. We need a good shooting, young aggressive point guard,
hopefully we can get GS's draft pick and find one in this draft.

@patriot Boozer has made the all star team before, but I'll take Millsap
over Boozer in a heartbeat.

@ Portland Trailblazers
You finally broke the silence. You have not
talked as much smack later. Portland is not looking so hot any more eh? The
Jazz are rebuilding, and your great Trailblazers are not very high over .500
What happened?

The Jazz traded their stars away. Williams was a legit all-star and Boozer ...
maybe not a star but at least a consideration some years. Now the Jazz are
star-poor. Decent journeyman players but no real stars which is the reason why
they will miss the playoffs again this year. You get what you pay for in the
NBA.

How many of these All-Stars are on teams that are below .500? Quite a few.

Just because players on a team are prominent and are scoring, that doesn't give
them any credentials for being on an allstar team. There are a lot of players
left off of this year's NBA Allstar team. How about Pau Gasol? He's is a
superior player compared with his brother Marc Gasol of Memphis in my humble
opinion. It's largely a beauty contest about who the fans want to see and how
many votes are being cast. I think this year's game is going to be one of those
who cares to watch it anyway games. I could care less myself. The game has
declined in popularity and meaning over the years. The players themselves have
little interest. It's merely a dunk fest and zero defense. Boring.

Since there are no all- start this year I thought I would make this list for
fun. This is for Jazz history
PG-John Stockton SG-Deron
Williams SF-Pistol Pete PF-Adrian Dantley C-Karl Malone
So I know
some players would be out of position but Stockton, Williams and Pistol Pete on
the floor with Dantley and Malone. That would be a fun team to watch, even if
for one game. Impossible, but fun to think about.

I believe that the NBA is making a big mistake by not having one representative
from each team on the squad. Major league baseball does that. I know that there
are number restrictions but fan appeal is important.

No suprise to me. While Al and Paul have shown moments of greatness they have
been way to inconsitent. After watching the games on TV this week it is time to
move Milsap to the three, Hayword to the two and give Favors the minuets!!!

Milsaps play has tapered off quite a bit lately, ( so has the Jazz )or he would
have been on there. If he could have just made a strong push in the two weeks
prior to the selection he would have made it.

When you have Alridge, Love, Griffin, Duncan, Pau Gasol, Dirk, it's going to be
extremely hard for Millsap to make it.
I actually thought the
biggest snub was Rudy Gay, but then you have to wonder, then who do you take
out??
Nash is deserving, Parker is, Westbrook is...so overall the
coaches got it right. The East reserves are not as great.

Nobody deserves to be an All Star. Too many missed free throws, stupid
turnovers. Al plays good against bad teams.
