We may not be on the moon putting bases on the moon, but there's companies building shuttles for flight into space already, doesnt seem like attracting investors was too difficult either. Lockheed Martin, Orbital sciences, and Boeing. I work for one of these companies. America is doing it, and it already began during Obama's administration. Gingrich is pandering to florida voters thats all, there biggest hit was losing the shuttle program. We do not need to offer "prizes" or tax breaks for this either.

Many Americans are concerned about the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) passed by Congress in December 2011. Rumors have spread around the internet that the NDAA contains a sweeping assault on civil liberties that includes the authority to detain American citizens indefinitely on suspicion of terrorism.

Let's make Newt our first test case here. He's after our monies, and wants to bankrupt America. Let's then detain Newt Gingrich indefinitely on suspicion of terrorism.

This confirms that Newt is not playing with a full deck of cards.

"Gingrich" is promising to establish a permanent base on the moon by 2020 if he's elected president along with he wants to develop a robust commercial space industry in line with the airline boom of the 1930's and also also wants to expand exploration of Mars. He says he wants to offer prizes to help stimulate investment. We'll wind up paying for it. Yea right, our property taxes here. Does he want to kill off the rest of the housing market here to?.

I can understand that a national program that instills pride can be a good thing. But you have to balance it with our current financial situation. Is it really wise to spend money on another government program, regardless of its goal to put a colony on the moon, at this time when we are drowning in debt.

This is just one reason that Gingrich is not right for America. He should not be president. He can't keep his eye on the ball. He is not a small government conservative. He is a big government RINO. Yeah sure he was behind the "Contract with America" in the 90's, and he claims he was responsible for balancing the budget. In reality, the balanced budget in the 90's wouldn't have happened without the tech bubble creating greater than expected revenues to the treasury.

Gingrich did help reform welfare programs...I'll give him that. But he is a loose cannon. He is an abuser. He is untrustworthy. He is a big government guy. He only wants to enrich and ingratiate himself (Fannie/Freddie).
