Yes, you hit the nail on the head. When Phil Mickelson found out that his wife had cancer he suspended his season on the PGA tour to support her. Mr. Mickelson has the kind of character I'm looking for in the President of the USA. Mr. Gingrich is sadly lacking in that area.

When Newt said he couldn't think of anything more despicable than CNN bringing an exwife's story up right before the SC primary my first thought was: I can think of something more despicable and it's Newt's treatment of his first 2 wives! Google his wives and you will see much more troubling things than what ABC addressed on Nightline last night.

"Let me be quite clear. The story is false"

"I'm going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky"

"Edwards admitted the affair with Hunter in 2006, but denied being the father of her child"

Do I detect a similar pattern? I wouldn't vote for anybody who would cheat on their spouse. It is a character flaw.

leroy is a liar and a cheat. past behavior forecasts future behavior. there will be more women come out. BTW, talk about flip flopping, leroy was a Lutheran, then baptist and now is a catholic. he's running out of religions.

I don't believe him. He and his mistress living an "open marriage" for the six years Newt was cheating on his wife with that mistress. The only thing new was that he wanted his wife's approval to cheat on her. Good for her for saying no.
