What comes around goes around, and you know what they say about paybacks. Obama is in trouble and will most likely loose his 2012 re-election bid. I'm sure the Republicans will follow his example.

    delta,
none of BO's policies have done ANYTHING to improve the economy. On the contrary, they have surpressed the recovery. In normal business cycles when you have a severe a decline, the recovery is much steeper. this so-called recovery has languished and been so shallow because of BO's policies.

The economy is growing BECAUSE the repubs have prevented any more of BO's policies. Thanks for emphasizing the fact we have had better growth since they got control of the house in 2011 and have an effective filibuster in the senate.

    Pagan's talking points
    repubs BAD dems DIVINE

Pagan, bush could not have signed TARP had it not been passed by the dem controlled congress. But let's give credit where credit is due. Paulson's use of TARP did more to stabilize the economy than anything BO did, so thank Paulson, bush, AND the dem congress.

And BO increasing the debt more in 3 years than bush did in 8 is good? REALLY????

I've provided articles verifying BO pulled out under the agreement bush signed, so talk about the pull-out from Iraq, but give credit where due - to president bush who signed the agreement. BO wanted to stay longer

@lost in DC: If Obama's economic policies are so "disastrous" then why is the economy growing? Face it, things are getting better despite the GOP's best efforts at stalling.

Of course BO's justice department is going to say what BO did was legal. This article isn't worth the bytes it takes to publish it.

    hey pagan,
there's a difference between non-recess recess appointments and filibusters.

Republican obstruction is the last line of defense for the US economy against BO's disastrous policies. Thanks again for reminding us that we owe the repub senators a debt of gratitude.

Oh, and BTW, calling BO's bill a JOBS bill does not make it one, just as calling Obamacare the Affordable Care Act has not reduced the cost of helth care one penny.

    Conservative talking point:

    'Obama lies! Obama lies!'

'Justice Dept says recent recess appointments legal' - Title

What could drive Obama to take these types of actions?

"When Democrats reclaimed the Senate majority in the 2006 midterm elections, cloture filings shot up from 68 in 2005-2006 (From Dems) to a record 139 in 2007-2008." (From Republicans)
