    @Mountanman: What out-of-control spending are you now talking about. There hasn't been any more spending since the initial stimulus, which, from another story, some economists say should have been more. Can't wait to hear the campaign ads using terms such as "out-of-control spending" just because! Does anyone really think for themselves anymore?

    Christmas shopping in December always produces temporary surges in the economy! I suggest we wait and see what happens in Jan. and Feb. before we put too much hope in the economy turning around! Beat your chests if you want, but remember to keep your words soft and sweet because you may be eating them in less than two months! I hope the economy does improve but until we get the government's out of control spending and the national debt explosion under control, any improvement will be short lived! That, you can depend on!
