Point is your wrong, USU is losing quite a few "impact players"... Bobby Wagner, Kyle Gallager both did quite a bit. The other point you miss is how excited you are about playing decent against a team we destroyed. We proved on the field we are much, much better than Wyoming. It DOES matter how good the FBS team is. UNLV was garbage this year.

sorry to post again but I just saw the old Wyo/SUU score 18-11. Not so bad. The only game we had no shot at with an FBS school was SDSU. Sorry but no matter what their ranks are in the FBS its pretty good to only lose by a score like that.

Again maybe other then SDSU we gave every team a scare. I still say if your so much better you should have won by more then 19. Worst or best we beat an FBS school. Let's just stick to the point of the only USU player to make an impact leaving the program. That's another reason we have a chance. Turbin who was the only player for the aggies last year is gone. Don't kid yourself and say he wasn't the only aggie player. Who else did half of what he did? Certainly not that freshman QB. I made those teams points to show you that we do really well against FBS schools and USU is no different from those teams. Maybe with the exception of UNLV but not by much.

I'm sure SUU is improving. If you want to go back though we won fairly convincingly, by 19. And i dont know why Wyoming is a point for you, we destroyed Wyoming this year. It was very ugly. UNLV was the worst team in FBS last year. Congratulations. You lost by 16 to San Diego State a few years back, thats not SUU being competitive, that is a very solid loss.

Gee what a good argument SUU is USU body bag game. Give me a break. SUU might not win but come on you have to see the improvement the T-Birds have made. I sure hope the players think the same thing you just said. The only game next year that I say SUU has no buisness winning is against the PAC-12 Cal team. Other then that SUU has a great chance at every other school. Including your beloved USU. look at a few years ago. If your team was so supirior we woudln't have scored what we did. You wouldn't let us score if that was the case. Ask UNLV, Wyo, SJSU, and SDSU. We are going to be competitive and your going to eat your words. Win or lose.

How does us losing to Ohio, have anything to do with how SUU would do against us? OHio was a 10 win team, who played for its conference championships and won its division. The MAC won quite a few bowl games this year. USU has much more national respect than SUU. When SUU plays USU you guys probably circle it on your calendar and its probably one of your 2 big games of the year... unless you go to the playoffs. The difference is you are our body bag game, just like we were Auburn's last year and will be Wisconsin's next year. So yes you could play it close... even win... but more often than not SUU wont win. Just like more often than not we wont win (or even be competitive) against the SEC or BIG 10 powerhouses.

Yes they were but really no one takes USU seriously. At the FCS ranks SUU is taken very seriously. And we are starting to gain respect in your ranks. Well by everyone except Logan. You need to prove your the much better team on the feild. If OHIO beat you then SUU has a great chance. Great record but you still have the same type of players UNLV has.

USU was much better than UNLV last year. We went to a bowl, they were a 2 win team. They got wrecked by teams that we beat like Wyo (who we destroyed) as well as UNR. The only argument you'd have against us would be CSU which alhough was part of Sp. Teams blunders (that we largely fixed) but also a very controversial fumble, that there is photo evidence to show was wrong. You're really sensitive about all of this. Its just a prediction. I really don't even care about SUU, and have nothing against it. But its a completely different level of competition. Just like the SEC is different than the WAC, and SEC fans will often predict blowouts. Sometimes they are right, sometimes they are completely wrong. If someone asked you to predict a basketball score between SUU and SLCC would you predict SLCC to be competitive in 9/10 games? Same thing. Last time we won by 20, when we didn't play well. If you want respect earn it. That's what the Aggies did this year. Prove it on the field, and a prediction is just that. Nothing more.

I've said it before SUU is a way better team and they will play USU to the limit. UNLV is the same type of school as USU and we destroyed them. I do hope the fan's show a little more respect and realize that SUU although an FCS school is a great team. No matter what division you are in. USU has no respect for anyone that's not an aggie and I'm tired of it. Time to man up and show a little respect to the SUU Thunderbirds.

I would say most "influential" was Smith. He rallied the team a lot. Best overall player would be close between Bobby Wagner, and Turbin. Every play takes 11 players, snap to whistle. Thats how football works. I think its very realistic, we are a good FBS, and SUU is in FCS. Could SUU play it close? Maybe. But look what we did to the last FCS team we played. It also makes no sense that USU would have had the same record as SUU with the same schedule. We did much better against much better opponents. While we were playing Auburn to the edge, you were playing South Dakota State to the edge... the only team I see that would have serious potential to beat USU is Northern Iowa. But they're one of the better FCS schools. FBS is simply better than FCS. If SUU played an average D-2 or D-3 team, I'm sure you'd make a similar prediction. When we play BCS teams, their fans make similar predictions. Its just an early prediction, thats all it is.

Nice prediction and your wrong on many accounts. That score is a dream. USU would probably have the same season if they played our schedule. But yes they are losing key players. The most influential and best player being Turbin. I'm not like you, I won't make a prediction like that for next year. If I was to I would say SUU has a better chance then a few years ago.

We had plenty of players along side Turbin. A better argument for you would be USU is losing multiple contributors our 2 best RBs and our 3 of our best defensive players. But if you think that the only reason we were any good is Turbin, you dont know much about footall our USU. Just ignore the fact we have a linebacker projected to go in Rd. 2 of the draft. USU would probably go undefeated had we played SUUs schedule last year. Prediction 47-17

Well you'll be sadley disapointed. USU may win but it won't be a pouding. There it is again, the same overconfidence shown in the bowl. And you are wrong one player did make a difference. Turbin was everything (Unless he was injured) for the aggies. Now they have a QB that hasn't seen enough playing time. Yes I do because of the loud mouth fan's. Keep thinking USU will pound SUU into the ground. We are a much different team then the last time.

Stang, you seriously have it out for USU. USU is stacked. One player alone cant put a team in a bowl game. Also, I'm looking forward to pounding SUU our opening game next season.

More great news coming from Logan. Enjoy that winning season. With him gone you won't have another one in a long time.

It has been a joy to see Turbin overcome his injury and then have an amazing season this year. We will miss him greatly but appreciate everything he as given the Aggies. Good luck in the NFL!!!

As much as I'd like to see Turbin stay another year, this is a good move after a great season for him. I've heard from guys on the team that Turbin plays at a different level from everyone else, and I have no doubt that guy can make it in the NFL.

I shook Turbin's hand a couple of weeks ago letting him know I was looking forward to watching him on Sundays. I knew he wouldn't be coming back and I don't blame him (although, selfishly, I was hoping he would play one more year at USU).

Good luck, and just as other poster's mentioned, stay humble and keep your head on straight.

Smart move Turbin. You have been a delite to watch, despite the agony of the come from behind losses this season.

Go while you are still healthy and make your mark. A word of caution, stay humble, appreciative and do not get sucked up into the NFL rat race of entourage and blood sucking cling on's the later will suck you dry.

Be wise in your coming's and going's !!
